Enjoy a retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You will fall in love with this cozy 3/2 chalet with a super quaint mountain-y feel! Nice mountain views and close to flat road so no problem for any car and no scary mountain roads.

A mountain retreat in the woods yet close to everything! Get away to a relaxing, restful, restorative place. You will enjoy each other while gathering around the fireplace or at the firepit and sip a hot drink while taking in the clean mountain air and surroundings. Try your luck at fishing in our fully stocked community 5 acre pond. Gather at the large community deck to celebrate the day, swim, or toast to another beautiful day. Plenty of places to explore right in our valley while you walk out trails and quiet mountain roads. We can direct you up to the gazebo on the ridge top with 360°panoramic views, if you're up for the strenuous walk to the top you will be well rewarded with the view!
Nearby, explore endless hiking and biking trails like the AT and Tsali. For adrenaline junkies there’s whitewater rafting, ziplines, or kayaking on the Nanatahala River with the NOC. Fish and ski on nearby Fontana lake or visit the Fontana dam and historic village. The Great Smoky Mountain Scenic Train with special adventures like the Polar Express, etc, is only 15 minutes away in Bryson City.

About the host
Hosted by Gigi and John

My husband and I are teachers who have been blessed to discover this wonderful valley!
Why they chose this property
I have been coming up here to vacation with my parents since I was a child. Now that my husband has also fallen in love with the area, we decided it was the only choice for our family vacation home! We love traveling and feel that of all the places we have been this is our very favorite place to be when we have time off. The house and the surrounding area provide everything a family might expect when they imagine vacationing in the Great Smoky Mountains.
What makes this property unique
Amazing location uniquely close to everything yet with rural seclusion.
