The property has an amazing view of the lake! Our host was very accommodating making our time away perfect. All of the amenities and little touches we much appreciated and the well-stocked kitchen made our stay comfortable and seamless! We will be back!

Our trip to the Finger Lakes was amazing! This location is perfect and the home was fabulous: quiet, beautiful views, and, what you seldom see, a very well-stocked kitchen. We would definitely stay here again. Communication with our host, Lauren, was easy. Lauren returned texts within minutes. She is lovely. Enjoy the Finger Lakes from this home away from home.

For dog owners who use an gps collar, while the property is 2 acres, a road bisects this property thus reducing usable space to about an 1/3 of an acre without a leash.

We enjoyed our stay at Poplar Cove! The cottage is very cozy and has most amenities you might need. The view was a beautiful snow and ice covered lake... just what we were hoping for! The host was very attentive to our needs as well! Look forward to staying again!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage! The location was fantastic, and the cottage itself was absolutely adorable. It was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, and you could tell that a lot of care went into making the space comfortable and welcoming.The property had everything we needed and so many thoughtful extras that made our stay even easier. There were phone chargers in the bedrooms, plenty of paper towels, cleaning supplies, and even labeled light switches so we always knew exactly what each switch controlled. Those little details really made a difference!The cottage on the lake was cozy, comfortable, and had so much character. The views of the lake from the main room were breathtaking. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a charming and well-appointed place to stay. I hope we can visit again!

It was our first time at Owasco Lake. We spent a week at the cottage for a family get together & everyone loved it. The house is actually more spacious than it looks in the pics. It has a great open feel with views of the lake from everywhere! We kayaked, paddle boarded, enjoyed both the fire pit & the grill. There is also an entire shed full of fun lawn games, our favorites were corn hole and croquet! In town we went to a farmers market one day and also a Thursday night food truck thing at Emerson Park that had live music! It went by way too fast, and the hosts were great with quick responses to anything & everything! I definitely recommend staying here.

If you are looking for gorgeous views, luxurious linens, and all the comforts of home, Cottage at Poplar Cove is the place to stay. Add to that, it is dog friendly!Owner, Lauren, is always accessible, and has created a guide that provides all you need to know about the cottage and the area. The sunrises are breathtaking. We went to view colorful fall leaves, and enjoyed so much more!

A great escape right on the water

We had a blast staying on Owasco. Morning trips on the kayaks followed by exploration of the surrounding areas was great. A quick trip to Cayuga or Skaneateles gives you infinite options for food, drink and entertainment!

Stayed in late October while visiting my son at Syracuse. The weather was beautiful and allowed us to enjoy spectacular sunrises every morning. The house was perfect for a weekend away. Don’t miss visiting Filmore Gorge State Park. It’s amazing!

This home is as described on a nice size property with an amazing dock perfect being right on the lake, ample parking, and fire pit, chairs, a large deck, propane grill. The outside was all we could ask for and more. House is updated in large living area with modern furnishings. We have six staying so did find the kitchen small, however fully stocked with everything needed. Upstairs slept 4 however they are not 2 separate bedrooms which was fine for us but I would mention that in case it is important to your stay. Owners communicated fabulously and we loved the lake being less deep which meant warmer for our stay. Highly recommend!

Loved the view, water toys, and lake access. There were only 4 of us and more than enough room. Really cozy and clean. Would be happy to stay again sometime in the warmer months.

Lakeside Retreat

We had an excellent stay at this property! The view was unbelievable and the house was comfy and clean. I loved the app that the hosts offered that gave us clear instructions for check in/out. The best part was being able to bring my dog along for the trip! 100% recommend. Thank you for a great stay!

Wonderful

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The home is located on a beautiful part of the lake. We took advantage of the kayaks and explored other parts of the lake. The fire pit was a great gathering spot in the evening. The home itself is very clean and comfortable. Overall a wonderful stay and we plan on returning next year.
