Looking for Elk

This was our second trip to this area, but our 1st time renting property. We just wanted to try it out. It far exceeded our expectations. It was very comfortable and clean. It felt like our home away from home. It was nice to not have to eat out "every" meal. The host was exceptional, very friendly and attentive. We would definitely stay here again. We did find a lot of Elk!

House is a converted doublewide with a previously un-mentioned rental unit in the basement. We could hear every word spoken downstairs. When the garage door opener was activated it woke us up with a "what the hell is that?". House is located on a major truck traffic highway that was very noisy day and night, sleeping was difficult. Bedrooms had just sheer curtains, so to avoid putting on a show we had to change clothes in the bathroom at night. Bath tub did not have a mat or anti-slip strips so showering was very adventurous. The telephone was not connected and with no cell service in the are we were cut off from everything. All in all a very disappointing place.

Nice comfortable clean house. We loved our stay. Just be aware you are not getting the whole house there's another apartment in the basement a few pictures in the listing are from the bacement apartment.

Watching Elk

Enjoyed ourselves and saw elk mostly at visitor center. Nothing at any other view points though! Sure wish there were more elk around. Home is fairly close to elk territory. Glad there were pots available to warm up our food. Stove and over worked wonderful. Definitely would stay here again!

Great trip

We have stayed at this house for years. Always a great stay! Peaceful and relaxing. Zita is always very welcoming and there if you need anything. Kids fished in the stream behind the house and caught a rainbow trout and other fish. We drove to see the elk, we saw a bunch and heard the bulls bugle! We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay.
