Take a nap on the second floor sleeping porch, get cozy in the downstairs library/media room, or stroll through the secret garden that includes a beautiful fountain. There are so many places to relax and enjoy this special and peaceful place.

Wonderful location for a family vacation. The grandkids loved the spacious grounds and S’mores by the fire. Plenty of room for all nine of us. Very short ride into downtown Highlands and all the great shops and restaurants.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in Highlands while celebrating my birthday with family. We were 6 adults and 2 babies and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and the beds absolutely lived up to the listing - they were some of the most comfortable we’ve slept in.The home is exactly what you hope for in a mountain getaway—comfortable, cozy, and incredibly welcoming. It felt warm and inviting from the moment we arrived. Being so close to downtown Highlands made it easy to enjoy the restaurants, shops, and everything Main Street has to offer. It was especially convenient with two little ones, allowing us to quickly return to the house whenever we needed.Janet was an outstanding host throughout the entire process. She was responsive and communicative throughout the weekend. My sister-in-law accidentally left behind a pair of shoes. Janet prompt alerted us of this and immediately shipped them back to us which was greatly appreciated. We’ll definitely stay again.

We had the most wonderful weekend getaway at this Highlands home. I stayed here with a group of my girlfriends, and it was the perfect spot for us to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the mountains. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed. We loved drinking coffee on the deck in the mornings and unwinding in the cozy living room at night. The location was ideal—close to town but still peaceful and surrounded by nature. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, which made the entire stay seamless. We’re already talking about coming back because it truly felt like a home away from home.

We had such a great stay here. The house is gorgeous, and the grounds are just as beautiful. Everything felt even better than expected. Everything was great. Loved the big kitchen and living room. Plenty of space for gathering. Easy access to town. Could have used 1 more bathroom, but we worked it out. Thx for s'mores basket. We weren't able to get outside but kids enjoyed the crackers/marshmallows/and chocolate just the same. Thanks for the cheese and crackers and wine too. We brought salami, and ham and cheese as well so 1sr night we we made a charcuterie board. That was our dinner. Janet informative, accommodating and very pleasant. Thx for everything. We love the Highlands.

We truly enjoyed this quaint home. Was convenient to town and many hikes. Large living/dining spaces and outdoor porches. Only issue was with the water temperature in showers. You can only run one shower at a time or else you get cold water. Would definitely rent again!

The property is very nice, set among large trees. However, the road next to the lot was very busy and loud. We were very pleased with the property manager, Janet. She was very responsive to our needs.
