The swing on the porch overlooking the little stream behind was very relaxing.

The cabin is beautifully decorated. We got this cozy, warm feeling when we first walked in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and hope most definitely to be back.

Great stay!

Great cabin! We had a great time! Our only complaint is that the hot tub was set at 92 degrees and was even at 92 when we arrived at 9:45 pm. It took a while to warm up so we could enjoy! Other than that we were able to find everything and did not go without! Thank you! We will return!

The Serenity cabin was just what my wife and I were looking for. It is very cozy, well decorated, and exceptionally clean. The management is very nice and responsive to guest requests. Also, it very convenient to Helen and easy to find. We definitely recommend Tanglewood Rentals, and we will stay with them again.

Great couples get-away cabin

We really enjoyed the cabin. It was small but perfect for me and my husband for a couples get-away. Everything was clean and nice. It was conveniently located only about 5 miles out of downtown Helen, tucked away in the woods. Easy to access—it is not on a mountainside, so there were no winding roads to get to it. There were a few other cabins nearby, but it was quiet and fairly private. My only recommendation would be to add some latticework or something around the hot tub as it faces the back of another’s cabin and didn’t feel private during the day. We were disappointed that spring break is the “off season” for Helen so a lot of things were not open. I would recommend visiting in the summer if you are interested in taking advantage of all of the local attractions.

The cabin was cute and cozy. We saw a bear in our backyard about 10 feet from the cabin! The only complaint I have is that the mattress was very uncomfortable. Would definitely stay here again, but owners may want to invest in a better mattress.

Nice week

The cabin was as subscribed. It was clean and had everything you needed plus bed was comfortable. We didn't use hot tub are fire pit but it was nice sitting out on the porch in swing . It was nicely decorated and cozy. Nice quiet area about 3 miles from Helen. We seen deer and a Armadillo in the yard. We had a great stay and would stay again.

The cabin was dirty...the blinds were covered in dirt and thick dust on areas of the walls. The cabin smelled very musty. It was clean the last time we visited so this was disappointing.

I would add a small lighted ma

I would add a small lighted makeup/magnifier mirror to the Serenity cabin bathroom. The bathroom is dimly lit and shadowy, and this would be a helpful addition. By the way, I love the pebble floor insert in the bathroom! Friendly people who work to eventually work through a reservation or billing issue you may have.

We enjoyed our stay very much

We enjoyed our stay very much so and would rent again and recommend you to friends. There was much hair on the pillows and under the bed, possibly from dogs along with a dog smell from the deer skin rug under the coffee table. Not sure if previous people had pets there but this can be an issue for future renters. It was an inconvenience for us on the smell and hair on the extra pillows. Thank you for the vacation stay and we will definitely recommend your cabins. Sheila and Bridget are friendly ad and great. helpful on the phone with information prior to coming up for our stay and in person with best places for shopping and things to do.

Lack of cleanliness is not ok

The place was filthy. After making a list of things needing cleaned, it was still dirty. Blind’s disgusting, top of microwave disgusting, cob webs hanging, floor was dirty, thick dust on picture frames and decorations. The sad thing is, the cabin is adorable. There is absolutely no excuse for dirt and dust! Very disappointed in the amount I paid, and the lack of cleanliness received .

Great cabin but the neighbors...

Our stay was great in many ways: the cabin was cute and cozy and clean. Very well stocked. Wi_Fi was very good as well as cell phone service (that's important for a mom while away from her kids) hot tub was great. However Friday night and Sunday our neighbors who were in a cabin visible from main road with a big circle on the cabin that read Tanglewood were fighting. Like BAD fighting! We were afraid at one point and almost called the police but it appeared they were permanently living there and we didn't want trouble. The man apparently caught the wife cheating after 12 years of marriage and was threatening to murder him and her both. Lots and lots of GD and other horrible language. Throwing items just a very uncomfortable situation. Sunday it progressed when he apparently went to use his phone and it was cut off (disconnected) we got the heck out of there before it escalated. So while the cabin was amazing. We won't be back due to the riffraff we endured. I reached out via email asking if that cabin was being rented but I got no response. The voice that was on the phone when I checked out matched the voice I had heard screaming all weekend so that told me all I needed to know! Like I said great cabin but the domestic abuse we had to hear all weekend we won't return!

Disappointing Stay – Unclean and Poorly ManagedUnfortunately, the cabin was not clean upon arrival. It was extremely dusty, smelled strongly of urine, and the floors were dirty—I had to sweep as soon as we got there. The bed had a deep dip in it, and the bedding was not clean. We reported the smell immediately, and the host said housekeeping would come that night, then the next morning—no one ever showed. The host also said she’d come herself if needed, but she didn’t.We ended up spending most of our time outside because the smell was unbearable. Our dog even found a chip in a blanket on the couch. The host did offer a free night for a future stay, but we declined. A partial refund would’ve made more sense considering the condition of the cabin and the lack of follow-through. Definitely not worth the high cleaning fee because its clearly not used for cleaning .
