This house was the perfect place to stay to unwind to have fun to see the countryside of Germany and be just a 30 minute drive from Oktoberfest.
The owners and their staff were amazing. I can’t wait to go back.
We had a great stay and enjoyed the horses and stables around the rental. Would highly recommend for people looking for a lovely place away from everything. Just great. Thank you.
We had a wonderful time in Bavaria. The house is located centrally to southern Bavaria. You can be in Munich in 1/2 hour and all of the beautiful lakes and castles in about 1 hour. Andrea was the perfect host. The serene surroundings and watching the beautiful horses everyday were ideal. The house is big enough to house 7 people. We will come back!
My daughter and her family joined my husband and i on a trip to visit relatives and my grandfather's birth place. The home accommodated our family of 7 easily and we were able to host our relatives with comfort and gracious hospitality.
We came from California.
This house is directly in the middle of an active working horse farm. It was fascinating to watch the work going on! We made day trips to Neuschwanstein Castle, Salzburg, Zugspitze and Munich with ease from this location. The house is an interesting mix of modern furnishings with a lot of Bavarian touches. There is a room with two beds shown in the pictures that we didn’t see -perhaps because we only were a party of three. There were some rooms in the downstairs portion of the house to which we didn’t have access. If you plan to arrive on a Sunday, stock up on supplies before you get to Aiying because all of the markets are closed. Be sure to eat a meal at the Ayinger Braustuberl!
We stayed here for 10 nights. The house was perfect for our family of six. The house is located on a working horse farm. We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the mornings listening to birds, drinking coffee and watching the horses be walked. The property is centrally located to explore the Bavarian Alps or see the sights of Munich. We did plenty of both, but we also enjoyed staying local. We went swimming at the lake in Unterlaus and dined at the exceptional Wirt vo Laus restaurant multiple times. We explored local shops, and we nearby sights. We toured Ayinger Brewery and enjoyed their bier garden for dinner one of the nights
Andrea and Peter were great hosts. They were happy to answer questions, but gave us plenty of privacy. We look forward to coming back and staying here again!
Best regards, Matt
In der Küche findet man alles, was man braucht.
This house is large and beautiful. If you have a car it’s great, if you do not I would not recommend as there is be public transportation or taxi service near
It’s difficult to describe this place. It’s majestic. When you wake up in the morning, horses are going on walks, and the scenery is green, hilly, and beautiful. The house itself was spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended. Would stay here again. Thank you!!
Plenty of space for our large group in a comfortable house. Although house is in the countryside (beautiful & restful) train station was 10 min away, giving easy access to Munich when we wanted to go into the city. Central spot to explore other areas across Oberbayern.
Property is well kept and host made check in easy!
