Very nice and cozy apartment that is walking distance to the heart of Lubec, which is a charming and tiny little town. The sunsets out back were beautiful. The apartment is quite small but perfectly adequate for a party of two. We were surprised and a little concerned about the lack of air-conditioning, but the nights were so cool--even in July--that opening a few windows had us very comfortable. And the host has thoughtfully included a high quality fan for guests' use. We were pleased with our stay and would stay again!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're so glad you enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and our little corner of Lubec. It means a lot to hear that you found the apartment cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped for your stay. We appreciate you mentioning the lack of air conditioning—fortunately, our cool coastal evenings usually make for very comfortable sleeping with the windows open, and we're happy the fan helped as well. We'd love to welcome you back anytime. Thanks again for choosing to stay with us!
This apartment had everything that we needed. It is conveniently located and the views from the deck were fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.
Loved our stay so very much! The apartment was spectacular. The view’s amazing and the town was charming. We also explored other seaside towns and restaurants in the area.
The peaceful atmosphere and slower pace was just what we were looking for.
Beautiful views of the Bay, even though on Main Street very quiet. Very well outfitted kitchen, very clean. We both slept in the Qureen Bed which was comfortable but a little tight around the dormer so person next to wall has to duck when moving around the bed - not a big deal, my husband was fine with it. Our second time renting and if we are in the area would go back and book the rental again.
We had a great stay here. The apartment is in a perfect location, with great views over the water. We loved the balcony, as well as the adirondack chairs on the bluff. The space was super clean and well-equipped. The only negative is that the pullout sofa is not comfortable for an adult, so this is a better choice for a solo traveler or couple sharing the main bed.
My 16 year old daughter, 12 year old niece, and I were in the area to cheer on my son’s girlfriend in the Bay of Fundy marathon. We loved Lubec and all of it’s quaintness! Our stay was perfect, although only for one night as we had a packed itinerary for our time in Maine. The space accommodated us perfectly, was clean and access was seamless. The only downside was that we had just enough hand soap and toilet paper for our overnight stay. Would love to be able to visit Lubec again with the whole family.
What a sweet property. We stayed in the apartment above the garage & it was great for 1-2 people. Kitchen has everything you need & it was great to have a grill. Sunsets over the water can be viewed without any obstacles from the deck.
I loved the washer/dryer in the bathroom. Two Adirondack chairs by the water was great but make sure to pack mosquito spray or wipes.
My husband and I are from Maine and decided to explore Downeast. Lisa's apartment was in a perfect spot in the sleepy town of Lubec. We were a little early for tourist season (mid-June), so not a lot was open, but the views were spectacular. The location was within walking distance to everything in Lubec, and the drive to Campobello and West Quoddy were very easy. The apartment was spotless, well appointed, and perfect for 2 people (as the prior review stated, would have been tight for 3). Well worth the drive from Portland (4 hours), and make sure to stop off at Monica's Chocolates!
This is not a large apartment but my husband and I were very comfortable. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen, bathroom. Nice patio and beautiful views. Easy to find and though it is on a main road it faces the back and it was very quiet. We only have one small suggestion: I read with a Kindle but my husband reads bound books and he would have appreciated a table lamp or small lamp by the bed.
Other than that, very nice.
This little apartment had everything we could ask for...it was tastefully decorated, thoughtfully equipped, and perfectly located on the water. The downtown area is within walking distance, and grocery shopping is directly across the street (IGA and Dollar General). The new, high-tech TV had a steep learning curve but we had fun with it (screen mirroring is enabled). Highly recommended! Thank you, Lisa.
We stayed 2 nights, and packed in a hike around Quoddy Light (coastal trail is gorgeous) and a drive to Head Harbour Lightstation on Campobello Isl. and black sandy beach at Herring Cove in one day. Apt is small (for 3 adults, (one on pullout couch)), clean, cute, modern and walkable to restaurants and town. The sunsets over Cobscook Bay from this apt are absolutely stunning! Million dollar view!!! Very comfortable firm bed felt new, towels were plush, nice linens too. Highly recommend.
Owner doesn’t want to block view and I wouldn’t either, but advising that there is no shade to block daylight from the main room if you sleep in the pullout. ) But who wants to sleep in while in Lubec? :)
The apartment had a spectacular view and we loved taking the short walk down to the beach. Great amenities, comfortable bed, and easy check-in process. The apartment was in walking distance of a grocery store and a short drive from a few of the Cobscook Shores parks and the Boot Head preserve. We'd love to come back!
We had a wonderful time here. The view was super, the apartment was clean, attractive and well equipped and it was pretty quiet even though on a main road. It got quite warm by mid-afternoon, though, and even light curtains might have helped, without interfering with the view. Also, communication was slower than I am used to on other platforms. Lastly, the bed was comfortable but tall people might have trouble navigating the sloping ceiling (fortunately, we're not tall). Overall, a really nice place.
Loved the location . Had some trouble finding the property and did not have a text from the owner to get directions. Bedroom roof is seriously sloped so watch your head . Property is gorgeous and shared with other renters . Very clean and just big enough for 2 people . We enjoyed it !

View Apartment!
the apartment is as is in the pictures. comfortable and clean with fantastic views. The small terrace is lovely with coffee or wine as are the chairs above the beach. The apartment is quiet and walking distance to the quaint sleepy town of Lubec. We absolutely loved this part of Maine-truly unique. The apartment is perfect for a couple however be aware of the slanted ceiling in the bedroom and bathroom- I am just 5' tall and banged my head several times- would be nice to have that portion painted a different color or a single stripe of color. We had a very nice stay my only pet peeves about the rental are: there was a half roll of toilet paper upon arrival with no backup, and there was no coffee--always nice to have included in a vacation rental...granted the supermarket was literally across the street but I had to buy a pound of coffee as the only coffee place in town was closed for the day we where there- also, the coffee filter was not emptied from the previous guests. Other than that- a nice place to have spent 2 nights while exploring- Eastport and Campobello Island and of course getting up for Sunrise at Quoddy State Park!
We greatly enjoyed staying here! We spent most of our time sitting on the deck reading and enjoying the spectacular view. The sunsets and stars were gorgeous! It was easy to pop over to the grocery or take the short walk into town for dinner. We loved exploring the lighthouse and Campobello too! This space is small but neat and very clean.
I was very happy to find this place to stay in Lubec! We wanted a base for our exploration of Campobello Island and Deer Island and this apartment was perfect! Not only was it clean and comfortable, it also was very close to the only market in town. Border control to the islands of New Brunswick was close too. I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment if you want a central location!
