We loved this place from the amount of beds, hot tub, snow, spacious kitchen, grill and the fact that it was named the Biltmore made it feel like home!!
We very much enjoyed our stay in Big Bear. It is a regular destination for our retreat. Two things about this house that should be addressed: 1) the kitchen sink does NOT drain and this is a significant problem and 2) there were a lot of ants in the kitchen and elsewhere.
We stayed at the property for our annual men's retreat, nine men all in our 60's. Everything was as advertised. We had plenty of beds, everything in the house worked great, including the hot tub. The game room was fantastic. We cooked a lot and the kitchen was well-equipped with the exception of a non-functional can opener (we bought one and donated it) and a lack of kitchen towels/pot holders. The manager was easy to communicate with and responded in a timely manner throughout the entire process. Would definitely return (we just might come back next year).
Spacious and luxurious, but the service was the best
Twelve of us stayed at this property for three nights. First of all, we had to change our date of arrival due to the snowstorm, and the management company accommodated our request. The check-in process was quick and easy. The property was very clean and well-kept. When the microwave oven stopped working, the management brought a new one in less than two hours. We asked for the snow shovel, and it was left by the front door, again, in a few hours. Not only that, but someone shoveled the driveway so that we could move our van! We appreciated that personal touch.
I will definitely consider coming back to this property in the future.

ok
lots of corrosion on water fixtures. cobwebs in showers and other places. other peoples hair on blankets, countertops and pillows. these things get to me. also read the fine print. checkout at 10am. get up, get the kids ready, make breakfast, clean the place, take the trash to a designated place and be out by 10am is not fun. ruins your enjoyment of the stay. coming after work for the weekend for 3 days and 2 night basically means you get the place for 36 hours.
We had a great time. The house was very comfortable, however, a few items to review:
The foozeball all table was broken
The sink in the half bath didn’t drain
The bathroom door didn’t close properly in the master bedroom
I don’t think we should have to clean out the ashes from the fireplaces either. They were still hot.
We did enjoy our time though.
