Outdoor: quiet neighborhood, park-like area.Indoor, favorable: beds for 4 people, one comfortable queen bed, new and modern appliances and furnishings, effective heating.Indoor, less favorable: two inacceptable single beds (very hard mattress); not aligned door bolt made entrance difficult.Communication: instant and helpful advice.
Susan and Mark are fantastic and welcoming hosts. The home is very clean and comfortable. Has plenty of plates, silverware, glasses, a nice selection of cookware and comfortable beds. The property has multiple trails that take you out to the east branch of the Rocky River. There are several birdfeeders right by the living room window that were visited by sparrows, nuthatches, cardinals, bluejays and two kinds of woodpeckers. Very much enjoyed getting to spend some time watching and visiting their five horses. Had multiple visits with Gabby, one of the barn cats. Gabby joined me for a portion of one of my walks which made the walk even better. We also had several petting sessions, not sure who enjoyed those more. Also met Garth and Scaredy Cat. Expect to come back next October to ride the Ohio & Erie Canal trail again as well as hiking and biking some of the metropark trails and enjoy more of Susan and Mark's hospitality.
We had such a wonderful time at this property and will definitely be back when we visit family in Ohio! The host was so accommodating and gracious about letting us have a family BBQ and pool party, which made our stay extra special. Everyone in our family commented on how beautiful and well cared for the property was. The host was incredibly friendly and even took the kids on a wagon ride to see the horses which they loved. We also really enjoyed walking along well-maintained trails behind the property. The kitchen and house was well equipped with everything we needed.
This property is beautiful! We had a girls’ weekend away and planned to relax, float in the pool and see a concert while we were there. This is the 3rd time we have visited and always look forward to being there. We walked to the lighted pond (gorgeous at night) and visited the horses. Mark and Susan are always so generous! We were able to check in a couple hours early to spend time swimming before the concert, and they brought us towels to the pool after check out. The weather was great, the company was amazing, and the place is one we’ll visit again soon. Highly recommend!
Property is absolutely beautiful Loved the picture window and watching the birds and squirrels! Loved being able to pet the horses!Susan and Mark are wonderful! A perfect place to stay!
We had a great stay at the farmhouse. Felt very much like home. House was clean and well appointed. Hosts are kind. Wish we had better weather during our stay to spend more time outside. The deck, pond, firepit and surrounding property are certainly a highlight.
Everything was perfect! We had a wonderful time at the property, our children especially loved petting the horses. The hosts were very responsive to our inquiries and very welcoming! We'd love to stay here again when we come back into town.

Dexter and his family were ideal guests extremely courteous and left the Farmhouse in pristine condition.
The only thing I’d change about our stay at Susan’s is I wish it could have been longer! We loved the spacious yet cozy house that let our family spend plenty of quality time watching the abundant birds and small animals out of the beautiful front window and off the fantastic deck, while also having plenty of room for relaxing alone time. We made big breakfasts in the kitchen and curled up for movies at night. The entire property is welcoming, with plenty of room to roam, and my feline-loving boys could not have been happier about the friendly farm cats. We definitely hope to return!
