We are delighted to have you. This gorgeous home has been completely renovated in a peaceful neighborhood overlooking the IMG Golf Course.
Pack your bags and get ready to escape to SW Bradenton, just 6 miles from SRQ Airport and 10 miles from downtown Sarasota. Siesta Key has been rated the #1 beach in the US, only 17 miles from the home. Additionally, Ana Maria Island is 11 miles, Lido Beach 12 miles, Coquina Beach 9 miles, and Longboat Key 12 miles from home!

The tranquil Cortez Retreat boasts 3,500 square-feet of luxurious living, wide open and bright! It has been entirely remodeled with stylish new furnishings and décor. Unwind with the family on the cozy couches in the living room to stream your family’s favorite movie using the high-speed Wi-Fi and the Smart TV’s. Withdraw to the expansive patio or to one of the balconies to relax and indulge in the beautiful weather and views of the Sunshine State while sipping a glass of wine or a warm cup of coffee.

Large screened pool deck surrounding the HEATED SALTWATER pool.
Pool Heat is set to 85 degrees, however, if air temps drop below 70 degrees it can affect pool temp. Therefore, pool temperatures cannot be guaranteed.

We have amazing, efficient cleaners who disinfect hard surfaces, wipe down switch plates, stair railings, etc.

Entertainment Room: Two (2) couches (Can be used for sleeping), 1 full foldable mattress

All linens and towels provided (bath and beach)!

The classy kitchen is open to a dining area that seats 8 in addition to 3 island stools. Kitchen also includes stainless steel appliances, center island and granite counters.

The kitchen is fully stocked and includes: drinking glasses, coffee mugs, kid-friendly dinnerware, pots and pans, cooking utensils, mixing bowls, baking dishes, cookie sheets, toaster, blender, can opener, wine opener, measuring cups/spoons, coffee maker (including complimentary coffee, filters and creamer)!

Gas Griddle with propane tank is provided. We do not refill the tank. So, when it goes empty, please feel free to exchange the tank at a local gas station or Home Depot for around $20.

Trash: Pick up is Monday and Thursday. Please place bins out for collection on Sunday and Wednesday evenings. $100 off-schedule pick-up fee for any trash not taken out.

***ATTENTION: If you’re looking for a party house, please do not book! Property is ideal for large family vacations.***

Other things to note:
-Pets allowed up to 15 lbs. on a case-by-case basis for an $125 additional pet fee per pet ( up to 2 pets max). They must be completely cleaned up after. Must be fully house trained, on a leash at all times when outdoors, and crated indoors when not home with the pet. If barking becomes an issue during your stay, alternative arrangements must be made. No pets allowed on the furniture or in the pool.

Neighborhood is pretty quiet, neighbors are friendly. Only minutes drive from Coquina Beach, Lido Beach and Ana Maria island!

Best way to get around is by car.

We are three brothers who work and live in Orlando, Florida. Each of us is happily married with three children apiece and two fur babies, Nala and Skippy. Bradenton became a sweet escape for our families from the hustle and bustle of the city. We enjoy all that this area has to offer as it is central to the most beautiful beaches in the country. We hope that you, too, will fall in love with Bradenton and will continue to make The Cortez Retreat your home away from home.
For your convenience, there is a guest manual binder located in the house for you to reference throughout your stay. This manual includes various details about the house, check-out procedures, local dining recommendations and activities, etc.

Laundry room is located inside of the garage and is available for your use during your stay. Guests are responsible to supply their own laundry detergents, softeners, etc.

-First Aid:
First Aid kit is available under the sink in the kitchen.

-Trash:
Please take bins to the curb on the night before each pick up day and promptly retrieve bins from curb after pick-up. Mondays & Thursdays: Garbage (black bins)
Mondays: Recycling (blue bin)

-Mail:
Should mail be delivered please place it in the plastic bin labeled "Mail" located on one of the shelves inside the closet pantry in the kitchen. Thanks!
