Sandpiper Retreat, Pointe West, Sleep 10, 4/3

Get ready to have one of the best family vacations of your life! Relax in style in any of the beautifully designed rooms filled with beautiful furniture and coastal decor. Cook memorable fresh seafood meals in the gourmet marble-counter kitchen. Enjoy the finest sunsets over the bay while eating on the back porch dining table. Take in the waves from either of the porches on the front of the house. Relax after dinner under the house in the hammock, swing, or Adirondack rocking chairs.

The space:
Sandpiper Retreat offers 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms spread out over 2 floors, comfortably sleeping 10 guests. Downstairs you will find the main living room, dining and kitchen. The bunkroom and 1 bathroom are located downstairs just off the main living room. The bunkroom is equipped with 4 bunks with 6 storage drawers underneath for clothes, a small table & chairs, 4 bean bags and a Pacman arcade machine. You will find many board games and puzzles to enjoy with your family in the coffee table and media console. The main living room has a 65in Samsung flatscreen smart tv with Roku apps for all of your movie needs!

The front deck offers beautiful views of Pointe west and peek a boo views of the ocean. The back deck offers stunning bay views located just off the kitchen. Sunsets from the back deck are not to be missed!

Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. 1 King room and 1 Queen room share a full bath. These bedrooms are spacious with good sized closets and dressers and have gorgeous views of the bay and the ponds. The Primary bedroom has an attached spa like bathroom with double sinks, a freestanding soaker tub with views of the ocean and a separate walk in shower. The Primary suite has a 65 in Samsung flatscreen smart tv with Roku apps. Enjoy the sunrise or a good book from your own private deck off the primary suite, complete with rocking chairs.

Under the house you will find a wonderful gathering spot to take in more views with a hammock, swing and 6 Adirondack rocking chairs. This is a spacious area where kids can ride scooters and play games. Adjacent to our house is wide open green space where you can play frisbee or fly kites. We offer a small charcoal grill and a Big Green Egg Grill under the house for all your grilling needs! Please bring your own charcoal. Grilling tools located in kitchen.

Beach Tips:
The boardwalk to the beach is just at the end our our street. 4 min walk. There are stairs at the beginning and end of boardwalk so grab a friend if taking a beach cart full of goodies to the beach.
We offer beach chairs, a beach cart and varying sand toys located in storage trunk under house.
Our house has an outdoor shower under the house as well as a hose on the side of house near garage. Please rinse sand before going inside!

Guest access:
Guests will have access to all living spaces, bedrooms, dressers, pantry, laundry and 2 closets upstairs in the Guest King and Queen rooms. There are 2 locked owners' closets (Primary and bunkroom) and a locked owners' garage. Guests may access the open garage and enjoy all amenities under the house.

Guests also have access to an array of resort amenities in Pointe West including the Beach Club (on beach side)- large infinity pool, baby pool, hot tub, showers, gift shop, weight and fitness room, adult's room with TV and Wifi, The Pointe restaurant- food and beverage service poolside (Mar-Oct). Gas grills and cabanas are available to rent at Beach Club Pool. There are BBQ grills located around the resort, a basketball court (beach side- bring your own ball). There is a fun lazy river, pool, hot tub and fire pit on the bay side near the San Luis Pass bridge.
Pointe West Resort offers over a mile of private, vehicle-free beach for your enjoyment. Our beaches are groomed.

Other things to note:
*Minimum age of renter is 25.
*Non smoking house. Please no cigarette buds left on property. $250 additional fee if smoke is detected inside.
*Not wheel chair accessible due to stairs to enter house.
*No pets allowed.
$15 fee per person for beach club pool and bayside pool access. Wristbands can be purchased in the office at the Beach Club.
*Tent, beach chair rentals & golf cart rentals are available from various companies.
*Ice Cream Truck frequents Pointe West neighborhood streets. Accepts cash & card.
*Beach towels provided at our house in baskets by front door. Please return towels to our house after taking them to beach or pools. (No towels provided at pools).
*4 beach chairs, 1 wagon, various toys provided located under house.
*Parking for 4 cars in driveway and under open garage. Please manually open the garage door. (The salt air breaks the openers every 3 months!)
