This is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom A-frame chalet with great wifi. Fully furnished (lived-in) home with everything you need so you can pack light and enjoy your stay. The house sits on a third of an acre, and When I stay on the grounds, I'll be in the guest lounge in the back yard. Feel free to say hi!

Homie Whidbey Island Retreat

We stayed for Thanksgiving - Chris provides everything you need to prepare & serve a home cooked meal. Close by great hiking, shopping, and beautiful ocean/island views. The home has a master bedroom & full bath upstairs and a big comfy second bedroom and another full bathroom downstairs! Very hospitable and comfy!

Great Getaway

Great Location to stay!

This home was tucked away at the end of a neighborhood. It was easy to find, clean and comfortable. Chris was an easy host to communicate with and has had an interesting life! There is a military base on Whidbey Island and where ever you stay be mindful to bring ear plugs. The jets can fly very loudly and late into the night sometimes.

Why they chose this property

This is the perfect spot for a getaway. This cozy chalet is in a superb location. 6 minutes drive to Deception Pass Bridge and 12 minutes to downtown.

There is a large driveway for multiple cars and even a truck and trailer. House access at the front and back both have stairs, with an additional ramp to the front entrance. Keyless entry via the back door, makes entry easy.

Come enjoy a cozy and clean stay! We live here with a dog...there will be some dog hair no matter how much we clean.

What makes this property unique

Like many other neighborhood in the Island county area on Whidbey Island, Northgate Terrace is a coastal area where they are near bays, beaches, and inlets. Northgate Terrace is only about 4 miles from the historic and tourist attractive destination, Deception Pass. This neighborhood is also on the outskirts of Oak Harbor allowing its residents a rest from the city life. There are also plenty of beautiful scenic sights around the neighborhood that the residents of this area enjoy. Whidbey Naval Air Station is nearby, and it will get noisy in the sky when they fly their fighters overhead. It's kind of like an airshow, which will delight fans of aviation like myself, but it can definitely get too noisy for some.
