We really enjoyed our stay! Our family of nine had plenty of room, and the house was very clean and comfortable. The host was wonderful and very communicative throughout our stay. When we checked in, the internet wasn’t working, but she immediately contacted the internet company and was able to get the issue resolved quickly. We really appreciated how responsive and helpful she was.We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this home to other families!

We really enjoyed our stay, beautiful view of the lake. The house was equipped with everything we needed for our stay and is very nicely decorated.

The stairs to jump on boat was all rooted, the picnic table was rooted. He charge the insurance for the things he should had fixed. My brother hurt in a picnic table and my wife hurts in a stairs to jump in a boat

Ilton - The dock is 2 years old so there is no way the new dock has any rotted stairs. The picnic table is only 4 years old and we just used it prior to your stay for a family event. You and your guest broke every rule I had. You had a large party every night. The neighbor even threatened to call the cops due to the very loud music and drunken behavior. You had a dog on the property and there is a no pet policy. You tied your boat up to the dock overnight which is not allowed. You had blood stains dripping down the cabinets, on the floors and carpet. You left trash in the house, on the dock (including a dead fish tied to the dock) and in the yard. You also did not put the key back in the lockbox. The charges to the insurance company were all approved based on the multiple photos sent to them showing all the damages you and your guests did to my property. I hope others that you try to rent from in the future have a chance to read this post to see what type of tenant they are getting.

Well Worth It

Excellent house, very clean, fun lake, and plenty of parking. We stayed here to enjoy the lake and visited Charleston every evening. Only complicated is you only get one key to the house so if you have multiple groups of people doing activities you just need to figure out who would get back first. Would definitely stay here again.

Mom's 90th Birthday Celebration

Everything about it was great, loved the decor, it was so fitting for the property. The only reason I gave 4 stars for the Accuracy of the listing was because of the cooling systems for the property. The unit downstairs had to be kept at such a low level to maintain coolness for the entire area that the average person could not stay/sit in the area (dining) where it was located; and the system upstairs did not seem capable of properly cooling for a comfortable sleeping at night. Other than that it is a wonderful place to catch some much needed rest and relaxation.
