Walk a half-block and you’re standing directly on 5th Avenue S, at the heart of incredible shopping, arts, entertainment & over 40 dining establishments spanning 6 blocks. You will love being so close to an abundance of coffee shops, sidewalk cafes & restaurants. If the beach is on your must-do list, you’ll have quick and easy access here. Take a four-block walk down a pretty, tree-lined street to direct beach access. We provide backpack-style reclining beach chairs, umbrella, beach bag, insulated cooler & beach towels.

Majestic palm trees and lush greenery surround The Gilded Palm. Open the window and you can hear the palm leaves lightly swishing on a perfect day in this tropical oasis. There is 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom (remodeled in 2024), living/dining room, full kitchen, and your own in-unit laundry room with washer & dryer. Bedroom offers a luxuriously comfortable sleep experience with high quality linens, soft area rug surrounding the bed, an alarm clock with usb ports, white noise machine & full length mirror. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you’ll need should you choose to cook or bake or if you desire to mix up a refreshing cocktail or pour a glass of wine. There are flat screen televisions in the Living Room (Smart TV) & Bedroom and strong, secure wifi. Additional amenities include quality bath towels, hair dryer, outlet extender offering usb and usb-c ports, a Keurig coffee maker, iron & ironing board, clothing steamer, detergents for laundry & dishes, basic cleaning supplies, shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion & more.

The Gilded Palm is a sunny top-floor end-unit located in a boutique condo community of just 2 buildings with 12 units total, offering a gated courtyard with heated swimming pool (sunny all day with full east to west exposure), lounge chairs, an outdoor shower, and two patio tables with chairs & umbrella. There is a convenient & dedicated parking space located right next to the building.

If you like to venture further out you can drive, rent a bike or walk just 10 blocks to historic 3rd Street South abounding in art galleries, boutiques, dining & a weekly farmer’s market. Tin City is just 7 blocks away and offers a casual waterfront shopping mall that exudes old Florida charm. Bayfront is across the street from Tin City and offers even more restaurants and shopping. You'll never grow bored in downtown Naples!

We had a wonderful stay at The Gilded Palm! I don't think we have ever stayed in a cleaner rental and it was stocked with everything you need and so well organized. They truly treat it as a second home. The location could not be any better if you love spending your days at the beach and nights on 5th Ave. We would highly recommend this property!

The Gilded Palm was the perfect getaway for my partner and me! The location was ideal: just steps from the vibrant hustle and bustle of downtown Naples, yet private and quiet enough to feel truly tranquil. My wife and I loved our stay at the Gilded Palm. Everything was neatly organized, labeled, and clean. The location is perfect for walking all of 5th Ave in the evening, and quiet leisurely early-morning walks on Gulf Shores Blvd. We love our time here and can't say enough about how wonderful the hosts were! Beautiful condo just steps away from the great restaurants and shops on 5th Avenue. The condo is clean, thoughtfully furnished and equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom and for the beach. We enjoyed leaving our car parked and walking to dinners and to the beach. The host was responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. One thing to note, the bar across the street gets noisy on busy nights.

This condo is in the perfect location—right off Fifth Avenue and just blocks from the beach. It is the cleanest most organized property we’ve ever rented on VRBO. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful week in Naples

Great location! The condo is very clean and nicely decorated. My husband and I had everything we needed for a great vacation with beach chairs, umbrella and towels as well as the pool onsite and a reserved parking place! We walked to the beach, to church, and to lots of great restaurants. We also had perfect weather for our week in February. Our host Kara was easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend The Gilded Palm for your next vacation!

Gilded Palm Getaway

This was a lovely 1 bedroom stay for us! We loved the location to all of Naples finest shops and restaurants. It was a pleasant walk away from the beach as well. The area offers an abundant amount of activities and beautiful views. The owners had all of the things needed to go to the beach and were helpful if there were any other needs during our visit. The property was very tastefully decorated and included every amenity we would hope for. The location is a half block off of the heart of 5th Avenue South. We really enjoyed our stay at the Gilded Palm! It was the perfect location! Easy walk to the beach! Steps from shopping on 5th Avenue! Condo was well equipped! So many nice extras...Kara thought of everything! There were plenty of chairs at the pool for relaxing! I would not hesitate to recommend this place for a couple wanting to explore Naples! The Gilded Palm is a gorgeous condo! They've thought of everything that you need for your stay plus so much more. It's located just a 1/2 block to 5th Ave S and a short stroll to 3rd St and the beach. Communicating with Kara is easy. Condo is exactly as pictured. The bed is so comfortable. Amazing location, Condo was perfect for two

We had an amazing stay at the Gilded Palm, we can't stop talking about it!!! This condo is very welcoming and has all the right touches. The bed, furniture & over all atmosphere are comfortable and inviting. Kara's attention to all the details has you covered: umbrella for rain, umbrella for sun, beach chairs, beach bag, clothes iron and steamer, ice packs in the freezer. Make sure you peek at Kara's map of the area and read through her binder for anything you might need. Books...a wonderful selection just in case you forgot yours or finished it on the beach and need another. The kitchen is well equipped for those days you want to stay in and make a quick lunch or dinner. Water pressure in the shower was great - one thing that I always appreciate! LOCATION... 1 block to 5th Avenue with access to wonderful dining and shops. 4 blocks to the beach!!!! The condo pool and chairs are great as well when you just want to stay close and relax. Book your stay at the Gilded Palm, you will love the beautiful condo and location!

We know Naples very well, this is by far the best area to stay

Unbelievably spotless clean, as if you would stay at the Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton ( but better ). Communication with host was prompt, polite and a delight. They went above and beyond to make sure you find the place easily and open/close the unit with no issues. You won't find a better location in Naples. It is less than a block from 5th which you have everything you need. The dinning choices are endless but all delicious. The shopping is great and THE BEST PART, 4 blocks from the beach! Kara had thought about every single detail! From beach chairs, to a full appointed kitchen and nice gestures such as Pelegrino water. The bed is high-end, from sheets to cover, mattress and pillows, again, better than top hotels in the world. Two TVs, great quality curtains, plushy towels and everything you can think of you could ever need in a bathroom, from body lotion to quality soaps. Again, we need to emphasize how clean her place was. At a price that you can't beat, you will feel right at home and also feel that you are at a 5-star hotel. We will book it every summer. We stay in Naples every year and this was BY FAR the best we had.

A hidden gem! Great location, so bright and clean, and walking distance to 5th Ave S and the beach!

This condo is an amazing find. If you are able to get a booking I suggest you grab it! The location is unbelievable, a minute’s walk to 5th Avenue South with all its shops and restaurants, and a few minutes walk to the most beautiful white sand beach. The condo is very bright, clean and has everything you need. There is a fully equipped kitchen, great washer and dryer, and a very comfortable bed. The owners went above and beyond with their extra touches - welcome water bottles, coffee pods for the Keurig, make up remover pads, and the most luxurious sheets and towels. We felt like we were in a hotel suite! Also there is everything you need for the beach, chairs, towels, umbrella, ice packs and beach bags, even sun tan lotion under the bathroom sink. I read three books at the beach from their extensive book collection - heaven! Everything is very clearly explained in two binders or labeled which we loved. We rented a car and took full advantage of our personal parking spot. Only a few of the twelve condos were occupied (all the people are very friendly) so we felt like we had our own private pool. We stayed the second week in December and the owners made sure to tell us about the Naples Christmas Parade which was spectacular. I cannot say enough about how great this condo and location are. The people in the condo below us have been visiting twice a year for six weeks for many years as they love it so much. We’ve already rebooked for next year!! Thank you Kara and Jeremy for making our vacation so special.

Great Experience!

What a great condo! Perfect location less than a block to Fifth Avenue and a short walk to the beach. Condo has everything you need for stay. We've stayed at a lot of places but Kara's place was the best for having everything you may need/want during a stay. And, it was well marked so you didn't have to hunt for anything! Condo was super clean and very comfortable. We can't wait to stay there again!

Warm and sunny getaway! Great location

We stayed for a week in April. The weather was beautiful, sunny and mid 80’s. Condo is well appointed and conveniently located near shops, restaurants and the beach. Hosts are attentive to details. Condo was clean and welcoming. Loved reading the books set aside for our enjoyment (beach home history, sea shells, novels, etc) So nice to have a washer and dryer for our convenience located inside the condo. Nice clean kitchen and bathroom. Host does fantastic job providing information regarding everything in the condo and what to do in the area. We enjoyed the pool. Water was comfortably warm. Loved shopping and dining out. Spent a day boating and shelling. Great getaway. Highly recommend this host!

We are so delighted that you are considering spending your vacation at The Gilded Palm. We purchased this property in 2021 but it has been hosting Naples vacationers (many of them repeat guests for multiple weeks at a time) since 2001! We have given it a new look & a new name. The Gilded Palm - inspired by the lush foliage that surrounds the property and the golden touches throughout. We hope you'll find it a comfortable, fun and relaxing place to stay.

We live here in Naples ourselves and love the lifestyle our beautiful community offers. When we were first married, we would take beach vacations to get away from snowy & cold winter weather. We told ourselves that someday we would live somewhere warm in our retirement. In 2013 we decided - why wait?!

Kara is a local Realtor and Jeremy is a web-developer. We have three children who are now all college or high-school age. In our spare time we love dining out, traveling & golf.

Why they chose this property

Location, location, location! You cannot beat the proximity of The Gilded Palm to the heart of 5th Ave S! There are 40 restaurants stretched across 6 blocks of 5th Ave & many more a short drive away. Close by one can also enjoy shopping and dining at 3rd Street S, Tin City & Bayfront. The beach access is just 4 blocks away and the condo comes equipped with all the fun stuff you need for a great beach day. There's a heated pool on property shared by just 12 units. When you stay near 5th Avenue it's easy to remember you're on vacation and let the rest of life fade away while you relax and recharge.

What makes this property unique

We think the location of The Gilded Palm within the condo complex (2 buildings total, 6 units in each) is top-notch. It's a top (2nd) floor end-unit, which means more windows and more light getting in each one. The path to trash cans and air conditioner units is located on the other end of the building making this unit more private. Furnishings & decor were thoughtfully selected to provide a trendy, coastal vibe and to keep the rooms light and airy - the whole space feels very open and inviting. Our goal is to provide a property that gives you room to settle in and have space for your own unique vacation needs. We have reclining backpack-style beach chairs, umbrella, insulated cooler, beach towels & a tote bag to make your beach days extra easy. Bathroom offers hairdryer, quality bath towels, ample countertop space & plenty of drawer storage. Kitchen is stocked with pretty much anything you'd require to cook a meal or bake something "at home". In addition, you'll find a Keurig coffee maker, bar supplies & ice bucket, wine glasses and much more. We have additional conveniences like an iron & ironing board, clothing steamer, sewing kit, basic cleaning supplies, laundry & dish detergent and more. Last but certainly not least, The Gilded Palm is CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!
