Nestled along Florida’s Nature Coast, Island Place Condominiums offer a serene island escape surrounded by the natural beauty of Cedar Key. Located directly on the Gulf within a true nature preserve, the property is framed by swaying palms, warm Gulf breezes, and tranquil coastal scenery—an ideal setting to relax, reconnect, and unwind.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a fun coastal vacation, Island Place provides an exceptional blend of comfort, charm, and location. The complex is thoughtfully designed to reflect the historic character of Cedar Key while offering modern conveniences. Guests are perfectly situated next to the city marina and just steps from local restaurants, shops, art galleries, and the grocery store—no car required.

Pet Friendly:
Pets are welcome with a $50 fee per pet, per visit (maximum one pet). Pets must be approved, are not permitted on beds or furniture, may not be left unattended if barking, and must be cleaned up after outdoors. Unauthorized pets will result in a $300 charge.

Additional Information:
• Grills are park-style and located at the end of the complex. Please bring your own utensils, charcoal, grill brush, and lighter fluid.
• No boat parking is available onsite. Public boat parking is located one block east or two blocks north, behind the museum.

Perfect Vacation Getaway!

This was an amazing place to stay! Everything we could of needed was there. The bed was very comfortable. It was the perfect location. We were within walking distance to everything. We will definitely be back and condo 205 will be the place we choose.

Incredible Experience!

Perfect getaway in a perfect town!

My wife and I drove down with our dogs to getaway for my birthday. We enjoyed how easy it was to check-in and got settled in right away. The condo is accurately listed online and perfect for a couple or small family with pets. The town was quiet and calm, but the condo location also allowed us to walk to everything! We loved that we could eat on the back porch and listen to the waves. Thank you so much for such a great time away!

Amazing place with beautiful views

This was a great get away. The view is worth the stay. We sat on the balcony as much as possible. We could see dolphins every day and the sunsets were amazing. Host were great. Responded right away to mention of mosquitoes with sending bug spray! We will be back

Cut short by hurricane!!

The people at Pelican Realtors were awesome, they help check out early because of a hurricane. The people at VRBO were rude and refused to refund the last four days of our stay. The two ladies at office were awesome in our refund!

Paradise

We enjoyed hours of relaxation as we watched the sky, boat activity, and listened to the soothing sound of waves wash ashore from the balcony. Local dolphins, birds, and fish provided us with live entertainment! Other than during peak hours, the complex was quiet and serene. The unit was as described and comfortably clean. Although internet service was provided, it was especially slow so if fast internet is necessary, bring your own. I really didn't mind this because it helped me unplug. :)

I liked the little alcove shown in the photo to read away from the tv. The balcony was great to watch the full moon reflection on the water when we stayed. The place was in the middle between the waterfront restaurants and the downtown area which made it walkable to everything.

Helpful Staff

We had difficulty with entering the code on the door pad and someone came quickly to help us. In addition, it was very cold in the condo and Heather provided us with a blanket. The bathroom tub was dangerously slippery and a mat was provided. There was no coffee maker and a French press was provided. We were grateful for the prompt response of the staff.
