Welcome to Shearwater. Your home by the sea. Shearwater has room for 10, so bring the kids and grandchildren. The main level includes the kitchen, dining, living room with a sleeper sofa and master suite with jetted tub. Hickory cabinets, myrtle wood floors and trim, tile floors and Berber carpet throughout the home. Upstairs includes a full bath, 2 bedrooms, one with a private balcony, both with queen size beds. Downstairs is a 4th bedroom, hall bath, Jacuzzi changing room, family room with 2 sofa sleepers, secondary dining area, futon sofa sleeper with a high quality mattress, and an away room with a fireplace, TV, and 4 by 8 pool table. The Jacuzzi room is off the first floor deck. Your private beach access is immediately in front of Shearwater. Come and stay, relax and play. While not ADA compliant, the main level is wheelchair friendly. Shearwater has parking for 5 vehicles and a local staff available when needed.


Within a 15 mile radius: Within a 15 mile radius you have access to an aquarium and two light houses, three 18-hole golf courses, factory outlet shopping and a casino. Deep sea fishing and whale watching excursions at Depoe Bay. An excursion on a zodiac boat with a whale biologist gets you about as close to a whale as anyone will.

Property well maintained by owner. We had some challenges with the thermostat - inconsistent temps in different parts of the house - but that may have been operator error. Good access to the beach. Owner was kind enough to let us in the house an hour early on check in day.

The house was mostly as pictured and described. It’s older but the direct beach access at that price is amazing. However, upon arrival we had to empty the dishwasher. We have rented many houses and never had to do this. There were also clothes in the wash machine. The ceiling fans desperately need to be cleaned as well. Some of the curtain rods could use a wipe down too.

Fabulous home for a large family with plenty of space for all interests. Beach access and views that are worth every penny. Pool table was appreciated, multiple decks to enjoy the views. Clean, crisp linens and well stocked kitchen. Home is well loved, but owner is kind, responsive and willing to assist.

Great Stay

We loved the location of this house it’s right on the beach & beautiful. Very spacious for our group of 10 and well stocked. My family loved the hot tub morning and night, and playing many games of pool.
