Our newly renovated condo #310, is on the top floor. Enjoy the 3rd floor with NO noise above you, directly over beautiful Wailua beach. "Fall asleep to the sounds of the crashing waves" The condo is located on the quieter end of the building, away from Main Street. From your private lanai you won’t hear the road, only the waves and you can not beat the view!
Wailua Bay View is centrally located on the East coast of Kauaʻi. Ideal, whether you are staying in Kappa area or enjoying actiities on the North or South side. Lihue airport is a short 10 minute drive. The bike and walking path, stretches from Kealia Beach to Lydgate Park, more than 8 miles in length. It is only a short walk to Papaloa beach, a protected cove for babies and young children. Lydgate Park is a10 minute walk or less than a 5 minute drive. In addition Golf courses, beaches, hiking, kayaking, restaurants are all just a few minutes away. You can walk to Coconut Marketplace and explore Japanese, Korean, Chinese, & American cuisine.

All soaps; liquid bath, liquid hand, dish, dish washer & laundry soap will be provided.
For outside fun, we offer Binoculars, Beach Towels, 2 Tommy Bahama beach chairs/ large rain umbrella/fins / masks / snorkels/noodles, pool floats, Tommy Bahama beach umbrella, ice chests , 2 boogie boards & 2 sets of hiking poles.

Loved Our Stay Here!

The condo was even nicer than pictured. Plenty of space, and extremely well equipped. Loved our time on the balcony enjoying the gorgeous view! Hosts were responsive and very friendly. Appreciated the very comfortable queen blow-up bed. AC in both bedroom and living room worked well and kept us cool when we needed it. Very well kept beautiful grounds. Appreciated that we were so close to beaches and the Coconut Market (great ice cream)! The location was also convenient to Kapa'a, Lihue, and Poipu, all of which we enjoyed during our stay.

Condo with a view

We loved enjoying our coffee listening to the crashing waves every morning on the lanai. Pool was spectacular break after a day of travelling around the island and doing activities. It’s a great location. Would definitely stay here again

Two weeks in Kauai

The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking, the views are amazing and the location is perfect for heading to any adventure on the island. The only slight downside was the noise from the waves crashing and occasionally traffic from the road side of the condo. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The condo was clean, renovated and had a nice view. It is listed as having air conditioning but only the bedroom is air conditioned. The other rooms only have fans and ineffective air conditioner in living room. Literally 85 degrees every evening. Open the sliding glass door would cool it down but there is a nearby sewer treatment plant and the outside smell is horrible after each rainfall. It rained every evening. We spent our first morning in Kauai looking for somewhere else to stay. Definitely do not recommend staying at this location in Kauai. Fans do not count as air conditioning. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Amazing Condo

This condo was in pristine condition and very well equipped to every detail possible from kitchen to bathroom, bedroom, terrace and beach equipment. Amazing view right on the ocean. Owners very informative prior to visit and provided a very open channel of communication. Fantastic to have a very efficient washer and dryer. Definitely strong recommendation to choose this unit if you are planning to stay in the area.. kichen and bathroom very clean, modern and all very tastefully decorated.

Fabulous apartment

We have stayed at 5 other apartments in this building over the years and they were all nice , but this one is exceptional. The owners maintain everything to a high standard and it is beautifully decorated and sparkling clean . The bed is very comfortable, it is very well equipped and has everything you could possibly need . Communication with the owners was extremely quick and easy . The location is perfect for visiting all areas of the island , and walking distance to lots of restaurants and amenities . I hope to visit and stay here again in the future . I would 100% highly recommended this lovely apartment .

Amazing

The photos truly represent the accommodations. The renovation is something out of an HGTV home show. It is clean, modern, cohesive in design and furnishings, and amply stocked with kitchen wares and beach gear. Nothing has the look or feel of the normal wear and tear one usually sees in a rental. There were even walking sticks and boogie boards available to use. The view was gorgeous and beaches were in walking distance. The king sized bed was comfortable and firm while the AC made the temperature easy to fall asleep. To be honest, just sitting in the living room listening to the ocean is peaceful. Passion Bakery which is the most excellent local bakery was just across the street. We would definitely stay here again.

On the beach

Very nice renovated condo on the coast in a central Kauai location. If you want to cook, the kitchen has every needed gadget plus spices, oils, flour, sugar etc. The condo has direct access to Wailua beach. Easy walk to restaurants, Lydgate Park and Lae Nani beach. Very nice Japanese restaurant one block away. Nice pool at the property with beautiful blue tile and tropical plants. Breeze keeps the unit cool. We spent the days exploring the island. The only caveat is If it is hot out in the afternoon you might not be comfortable in the living room. If it is hot, best to pack the provided cooler and head out for a picnic and walk in the higher elevations, or go for a swim. We saw whales from the balcony. Overall had a great vacation staying at this place.

January - February 24 day stay

We enjoyed our stay here. Condo is located on the corner of Wailua Bay with great access to the highway and walking to shops and eateries nearby. The location was ideal for exploring the south and north ends of the island. The condo has a great view of the ocean. We saw a monk seal eating fish our first moment on the lanai! Condo is very well stocked with beach gear, spices, soaps, etc. The firm bed was very comfortable and there is an air conditioner in the bedroom if needed. We found that the breezes at night kept for a comfortable sleeping temp. If you do sleep with the windows open a tip would be to bring ear plugs as the night sounds do carry. Our favorite places to eat nearby were Passion Bakery, Lava Lava, Hukilau, and Sam's Ocean View. Owners had great communication, they were quick to respond to inquiries. Thanks again Egidio and Cheryl for the great hospitality you offered. We hope to be back again someday.

The condo is roomy and nice. If you enjoy the sounds of ocean waves then this condo is for you. The owner also provided beach chairs and towels. It is on the 3rd floor BUT very far from the elevator. After reaching the 3rd floor, you will have to carry your bags on 3 more staircases (5-6 steps each) in various hallways of the building! Finding the condo is difficult if you arrive during the night time! I recommend that the Owners provide a map or instructions. Even a hand-drawn map would help. Minor complaint: the door-handle in the kitchen oven is loose, so it separates readily. It needs fixing.

I give this wonderful condo an A on the two most important items to us - kitchen and bed. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to make great meals which saved us a lot of money. The bed was super comfortable between the mattress, extra pillows and blankets. Overall, the condo and the owners were everything we could ask and more - very carefree and easy experience. We'd definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Honeymoon Stay

My (new) husband and I had a wonderful time staying at this property for our honeymoon. The location was perfect for an adventurous couple like us, it made it easy to explore every side of the island. Our favorite part of the home was the lanai, where we enjoyed breakfast each morning while watching the ocean.We also appreciated the thoughtful resources provided, including beach chairs and a cooler, some of which were left by previous travelers. While there’s no central AC (which is typical for Kaua‘i), the individual units in the living room and bedroom kept us comfortably cool.If you're planning a longer stay, I recommend stopping by Costco or a grocery store on your way in, as we did need to restock some basic kitchen and cleaning supplies during our visit.Overall, it was a lovely stay and a perfect home base for our honeymoon adventure!

Great apartment in a central location

Great place in Wailua for a central stay on Kauai. Great location to explore the island from. Apartment was very clean and modern. The ACs were great to get rid of the humidity in the rooms. The garbage disposal was the only flaw, it got very smelly.

Very nice condo in a central location

We thoroughly enjoyed our month long stay at this condo. The view and closeness to the ocean is phenomenal. The unit is very clean and well cared for. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and for the beach and outdoor activities. The location is very close to Costco, Walmart, Safeway and central to the entire island. The pool is also great and we were very impressed with how well the grounds are maintained. You can walk to a number of restaurants and shops. Our favourite beach was Lydgate- a short 5 minute drive which has 2 protected "pools" created by lava rock barriers. The surf can be quite rough at most beaches. Great option!

Wonderful spot for exploring all of Kauai

The apartment is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. And it is outfitted with everything you could need on vacation. The lanai has a great view, perfect for breakfast every morning. We loved the decor, the view, and the location, central to exploring the whole island. Wonderful stay.

My wife and I were married in Kauai over 21 years ago. We have been coming to Kauai for many years and just love it here! We both lived in California most of our lives. Though we have traveled every year on vacations to various places, when my wife retired a few years ago, that's when our adventure really began. We relocated to Costa Rica and lived there for 2 1/2 years. When the virus worsened in Costa Rica, my wife's son (who lives in Kauai) urged us to come to Kauai....which we did! We have been living here for 4 years now and just love everything about it. Next we plan to go to Portugal for a few months (or more) and enjoy the wonderful food and amazing people (did I just toot my horn since I'm Portuguese)? We are happy to now have a place to come back to in Kauai.

Why they chose this property

We had the unique opportunity of staying at Wailua Bay view for a year during covid. Vacation rentals came to a halt. We LOVE this place! It is centrally located, in the middle of the North side and South side. We could walk to dinner, Coconut Market or to Lydgate Park. We often rode bikes on the nearby 8 mile path. Easy short drive to Poipu, Lihue or Kapaa.

What makes this property unique

The view is SPECTACULAR! The balcony is private, looking strait out to the beautiful ocean. You cant see anyone on their balcony and they cant see you. That was the selling point for us; the private balcony, the sound of the crashing waves and that view. We've never experienced anything like it.
