This air conditioned east shore Kauai vacation rental on the Royal Coconut Coast at Wailua Bay View 302 is perfect for your romantic getaway. The beach is right in front. Literally right in front. You've got a perfect beach and ocean view that extends all the way across Wailua Bay. Just follow the stairs and you're on the sand in about two minutes. Shopping and dining are practically on your doorstep. It's only a couple minutes walk to sushi, burgers, or pizza, there's a convenience store quite close, and other shopping and dining choices are nearby too. The main shopping area in old Kapa'a, chock full of adorable shops, local crafts, great places to eat, is two miles away. You can hoof it if you'd like, it takes a half hour at a pretty good call for an uber, if you don't have a rental car. Centrally located so you can easily explore the whole you decide to just stay in and enjoy the private lanai and comfortable bed and work on your tan at the beach!

This beach view one bedroom, one bath condo on the top floor has a private lanai overlooking Wailua Bay. There's endless entertainment watching the waves, the surfers, monk seals, and even whales. If you fancy a stroll or a swim, it's just moments to head down to the beach, literally just feet from your door. The Wailua River is only minutes away if you plan on taking a boat ride to Fern Grotto or paddling a kayak upriver.

You'll find one bedroom with a comfortable king bed, and equipped with air conditioning. There's a full bathroom with tub and shower. The living room is comfortably furnished and you'll find an office desk and printer to make it convenient if it's going to be a working vacation. There's bar seating for two at the kitchen counter. For your entertainment, there's free wifi, and a large flat screen television. Washer and dryer provided in the unit. AIR CONDITIONING is available in the master bedroom you probably won't need it. With the lanai sliding glass door open, the ocean breezes come through and keep the entire condo refreshingly cool. Traditional island decor and soothing colors compliment the spectacular panoramic ocean view from your lanai. Complex amenities include a recently renovated pool, gas grills, and free parking (one car only!). This central location on the Coconut Coast makes travel to the north or south shore a convenient day trip without too much driving.

Home away from home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time in Hawaii. We stayed from April 17 - April 24th. We had a couple raining days but other than that the weather was perfect. The host supplied beach towels chairs, umbrellas and boggy boards. The rental was very clean and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed. They had supplied us with a couple of snacks that were appreciated after a very long flight. Everything worked as it should, no issues with the appliances. You could tell the couch was a little worn but still very comfortable. The VIEW was incredible! The beach closest to our condo we didn't swim in. It was dirty with typical ocean debris. There was a homeless man on the beach but fear not, he was a wonderful man who taught me and my husband how to tie a blood knot and some fishing hacks. I would stay in this condo again in hopes I would get to see him. You are next to a highway/main road but I never noticed it once in the evening hours. If you want a tourist spot I would stay on the North side of the island. This area was a little quieter. The unit has an AC window unit in the bedroom. It worked well for us my husband's only complaint is that it's loud. I would stay here again, it was my little heaven.

Stunning views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view of Wailua Bay is absolutely stunning. While there was a lot of road noise during the day, it did not prevent us from getting a good nights rest. When I return to Kauai I would definitely stay at this resort again, but would try to stay at the other side of the complex which is further from the main highway. The ac unit in the bedroom was old and very noisy, but was never needed. I would have preferred more comfortable chairs on the lanai. The 4 high top dining chairs were nice while having a meal, but were not comfortable for long periods of time enjoying the fantastic view. All in all a very enjoyable 10 days and would definitely return

The condo was clean except all carpets were filthy. The garbage disposal ran water from the bottom the day after we arrived. We cleaned up the water & put a pan under it & it was never fixed. It was wonderful having a washer & dryer.

Nice View, Loud traffic

The view was very nice but it is close to the main road and there is very loud traffic all day and night.
