The host was very responsive, Howes had plenty of amenities to make our stay very comfortable. Highly recommend would definitely stay here again.

Memorial Day 2024

The property was exactly what we expected and what we needed. It was clean and well stocked with cleaning supplies, blankets, and pillows. Our host was very responsive and when we had an issue they were able to resolve it quickly. I would absolutely stay here again and can’t wait to do so!

Review

Property manager super easy to communicate with and prompt with all responses. Parking situation not ideal. One parking spot for a three bedroom rental. Overall cleanliness good but kitchen cabinets needed to be wiped down and under cushions of couch had not been cleaned in a while. Also under beds were dusty. Advertised that property would sleep 8. Not comfortably. Three beds and a couch and love seat. Couch did not pull out to bed. So only three beds. Luckily we had an air mattress that we blew up. Just some minor issues that did not interfere with our stay. Overall I would stay here again.

Beautiful homey vibe

Friends from Texas and I from Oregon came to stay here. The view was beautiful, the place was clean and had a homey vibe. Will definitely be coming back. This time I'm the summer, so we can enjoy the beautiful Gulf.

Good value for the island

Overall, the property is clean and a good value. Price was exceptionally good for a 3 bedroom, two bath on the island. We will probably stay here again. North Padre and Port A have always been one of our favorite places to go. Owner was very responsive. There is a small balcony off one of the back bedrooms that our youngest daughter liked. Big front patio overlooking one of the canals. Suggest bringing your own lawn chairs. Kitchen was adequately stocked with pots, pan and dishes. Nothing fancy but had the essentials. Big plus was the Keurig coffee maker. There is no cable for the TV. The only thing that worked was Netflix which worked since we didn't spend much time there. Master bedroom and bath was nice. Only real issue we had was the steep stairs getting too the unit. Keep that in mind if you struggle with stairs. My wife struggled to get up and down so my daughter and I carried everything up.
