Tucked away on the upper end of Lake of the Ozarks, the water stays calm and quiet—perfect for kayaking in the morning or an easy boat ride in the evening. We love sitting on the front porch early in the morning with a cup of coffee, watching the water come to life with birds (especially the eagles!) and the occasional jumping fish and turtles. Afternoons are for swimming off the dock, fishing, or heading out for a boat ride to explore nearby coves. In the evening, there’s nothing better than grilling dinner on the deck and watching the sun set right over the water, often with the sky lighting up in beautiful colors.
