This charming house was simple perfect for my family; more space than expected. Have 4 bedrooms were more than enough rooms for our family.. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. Two full bathrooms although one did not have a shower was great.. The owner was very responsive and quickly address any questions we had.. The house is an easy walk to the charming gingerbread cottages and circuit Ave. I would definitely select this house for my next vineyard stay.
My family and I stayed at this Oak Bluffs Cottage for a week in August 2020. Location was very convenient to walk into Oak Bluffs and to venture to Inkwell beach. The property owner, Deborah, was very responsive to my inquiries and provided some good recommendations and tips for the area prior to our stay. A good patio for outdoor grilling and meals along with a yard to allow kids to run around. No central air but bedrooms had window units that cooled the rooms and the main floor had an AC unit that cooled the family room. There was only on shower on the main floor but outdoor shower on patio was fine. Need to bring your own linens and towels. All in all an enjoyable and convenient stay for my family.
Our family of 5 stayed very comfortably in this house. The location is it’s #1 feature as we could walk into oak bluffs for ice cream, dinner and to explore the gingerbread houses. There are 3 bedrooms on the top floor- one with a king, one with a queen, and one with 2 twin beds. All have window a/c units. 2nd floor bathroom does not have a shower. On the first floor the living area was very clean and updated. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. No dishwasher. There is a bedroom off the kitchen with a queen bed. The bedroom had a window into the kitchen so there is limited privacy but it worked fine for us. The first floor bathroom is outdated but does have a stand up shower and we primarily used the outdoor shower. There is a small stacked laundry machine in the closet that worked fine. The street has a fair amount of throughly traffic and I found that cars went pretty fast. I think they use it as a cut thru to avoid downtown traffic. This made me uneasy letting my kids ride bikes. Overall it is greaf location, close to everything. Bathrooms are outdated but the house was very comfortable go our family. We had a great vacation!
This is the cutest house. Location is great, Plenty of room for everyone. The outside shower was the best. And Deborah was great with emailing and responding back so quickly.
Beautiful area, very nice house and very responsive owner.

Great Location!
I stayed at the house with a few family members while I was in town to run the Martha's Vineyard Marathon. The location of this house was perfect for the race. There's a park about a 1/2 mile from the house where the race expo, finish line, and a bus that drove to the race start all happen. I definitely would recommend the house if you're in town for that! We also did not bring a car and found the location extremely convenient for walking to town and/or to request an Uber if needed.
The house itself is really cute and well kept. The only thing I would flag is about the linens -- I totally missed that they are not included when we were booking, but Deborah provided info about rentals for towels, sheets, etc. and it wasn't horribly expensive, just something to consider in the future!
We really loved the house and found the owner extremely responsive and helpful. Look forward to visiting again in the future!

Great location
This was a great spot! The cottage was as described. It was a bit rustic, but was just the right amount of space for my family. The outside shower was very nice after a day at the beach. The location was perfect!

Love This Place!,,
We love staying here!! The house is located close to town, the beach and the library (excellent for little kids)! It is well appointed and big enough for us to all stretch out and enjoy ourselves. The owner is super responsive to all of our needs. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location!
Location. Location. Location. The house was perfect for our needs as we only had bicycles for transportation on MV. We were able to use the bike trails and travel to Edgartown, Chappy, East Chop Lighthouse, and to several stores and restaurants. We found that the owner is very prompt in responding to any problems/questions. September is a wonderful month for visiting MV as the weather is still warm and summer like.

Falsely advertised and lots of problems
Although the property does have wireless connection, and several kitchen accessories, it was falsely advertised as having "newly updated hardwood floors and new appliances", which is completely false. The appliances are not new (old), nor are the floors. We checked in to the property to find an overgrown lot with weeds and dirt spots (while the neighbors had nice green grass lawns), broken blinds on the front door window, unsanitary conditions, and storage space in only one bedroom closet because the others were either filled with headboards and screens or padlocked. Although we called the owner with our concerns and she did respond quickly by having her maintenance guys come and remove the debris and have the cleaning lady come the next day, there remained no dresser or closet available in the third bedroom (it was padlocked). We continued to run across additional problems which made us very uneasy about our stay there and we actually checked with a couple of places about moving. One was, when I pulled the covers off the bed in the main bedroom late at night to put new sheets on, the mattress cover was covered with dirt, mold and mildew. It was horrific. I had to put the covers back on and sleep with the sheets on the top of the covers for the remainder of the stay. The cleaning lady removed the mattress cover when I showed her the next day, but really the bed needs to be disinfected. In addition to this, several of the electrical sockets did not work, there was a broken lamp in one bedroom, no lock on the upstairs bathroom door, no shower in the upstairs bathroom which means you have to walk all the way down the stairs and behind the kitchen to take a shower. Also, this picture of the home must be an old one from when it was freshly painted. Property does not appear to be well maintained and would never stay here again, would not recommend. There are several much nicer rental homes in Martha's Vineyard in the same price range.

Convenient Oak Bluffs Home
We were very pleased with this cute, little home in Oak Bluffs. The location was perfect: just a short walk or bike ride into town or the Town Beach so it was very convenient. The front porch was a great place to enjoy our coffee in the morning or to hang out during the day. The street itself was relatively quiet, but we did notice that it was right on the bus line so it would be very convenient if Vineyard Transit (VTA) was to be your main means of transportation around the island. My wife and I arrived first and everything was as we had anticipated, or better. If we had any questions about the property the owners were very quick to get back to us. After a few days our daughter, her husband and their 2-1/2 year old son joined us, and we still had 2 spare sleeping areas. The backyard was handy for playing outdoor games and the pull-through parking was appreciated for avoiding blocked cars in the driveway. The public library was just down Pacific Avenue from us so our grandson enjoyed that, as well as the nearby playgrounds. We never did make it to the beach with him as the end-of-May temperatures were a little too cool for the beach. My wife and I rented bikes and loved the bike trails that Martha's Vineyard offered; it was a very short distance from the house to one of the main trails. The air conditioning in the house was great for the 90 degree day we arrived, but then the heat in the house helped with the colder days that followed; the washer and dryer were a welcome amenity, too. We really appreciated this cute house and its true Martha's Vineyard look and feel and hope to return in the future.

Too pricey for what you receive
The home wasn't landscaped at all. Weeds and hedges overgrown. Flowers were messy. There is only one shower right next to the kitchen. I had to treat the upstairs bathroom for mini spiders everywhere. If two many things were plugged the electricity would go out in that certain room and then the tv wouldn't come back on. The ACs were very small so fans were always needed. There was only a closet in one room. Overall price should be much cheaper for what was offered. Good location tho.

Great Location, comfortable house, needs some cosmetic work
This house is comfortable, well equipped, and nicely located. The beds are very comfortable. You can easily walk to the town and to the Tabernacle/Camp grounds.
You should be aware that the stairs are narrow and steep.

Great location Cottage quaint and cozy
My wife and I were very happy with our trip to Martha's vineyard. It was everything we hoped for and more! We brought another couple and they agree. We plan to make this an annual event and would definitely book this home again. Coming to the vineyard late September early October might be a little late as far as the weather is concerned. Rainy all week. We will make that adjustment next season. I'm told August early September is ideal.

Overall, it was a good deal for the price. Lovely cottage, great location, close to all the venues.
When we first drove up and saw the porch we were excited. We knew immediately that this was going to be a most memorable experience. The home was comfortable, clean and quiet ... just the right atmosphere for a restful, easy going weekend vacation with the ladies!

A wonderful cottage!
This cottage provided a perfect location for our family - a quiet neighborhood, close enough to walk to town & to the beach. The house was very clean with air conditioning available. We would definitely rent it again. Many thanks.
