We had so much fun! This is a great place. My adult kids loved the animals, scenery and all the stuff to do. We had a fire each night and enjoyed the peaceful nature of this place. We are planning to come back again this Summer.
Great Vrbo, beautiful scenery and plenty of peace and quiet. Rooms were not huge but there was plenty of room for a couple. Everything was clean and in working order. We enjoyed visiting the dogs, the horses and the goats!
We came up to visit some family who live in the area. It was a great environment to stay in and the cabin was great. We hope to come back soon. This place is recommended if you need to get away from the hustle and bustle for a few days.
It is back off the highway and you can't hear any traffic. It is a really nice cabin with a good view and woods to wander in. Not heavy woods just enough to be interesting and enjoy nature. We really enjoyed ourselves.

My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary of when we meet with this rental of a cabin in the woods! It was very cozy and we enjoyed it so much. The beds were great. The porch was nice. The couch was terrible. I would suggest investing in a comfortable couch for guests who like to chill and watch tv! But we made it work and were glad to have this place to stay for the weekend. The owners communicated with us very well.

Laurie has a beautiful area in which to share with others. Convenient to stores if needed but peaceful and quiet. Loved eating outside on the deck esp watchjng the sunset each night. Beds comfy as well as linens. Bathroom towels wondeful. Not the cheap hotel/resort type. Thank you for those extra touches. Would stay here anytime.
We had a great short stay. This was a half way point for my brother and I to meet up. We havent seen each other in years and we both just had kids. Beautiful views on a quiet farm! It was neat to be able to walk around the farm and visit the goats and horses. I also really enjoyed getting local meats delivered!
Let me start off with saying, everyone on the farm is great! The goats are the best neighbors for this cabin. Waking up to them was a perfect start to our days. The view from this cabin’s porch is insanely beautiful when it comes to sunsets and a beautiful view of the property. Overall, a wonderful weekend and we cannot thank Laurie enough for the peace she has brought us and our two little fur babies for a weekend.
Oh! And if you come across the beautiful blue eyes puppy, give her some love and she’ll take you on the hiking trails to show you around. She’s a wonderful host as well. 😁

Went to rent this cabin for two night while my friends were visiting. They didn’t come because of the stink bugs coving everything inside. So my family left after 4 hrs there. The host only refunded 150 very upset with these ppl. Wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. They seemed to busy with other businesses to even bother checking us in with the correct code to enter the cabin.

This review is not accurate. - First and foremost this man called me on the phone and chose to speak to me in an extremely vulgar manner. Words that shouldn't be used in a public setting- such as this review reply.
I tried to ask him to review his emails from me but he was too busy cursing me out to listen. I sent him check-in information on the day he booked his reservation by email thru VRBO. It is a default feature and goes out to every guest who books at my property. I then emailed him another copy of the check-in information. I also text him within 10 minutes of his texting me inquiring about the door code. I was at an expo with my business and unable to text immediately.
They checked in at 5:45 and had zero complaints until midnight. At midnight I receive a text that their "son is afraid to sleep in a new place and wanted the lights on and was crying there were bugs everywhere". There were not in fact "bugs everywhere".
I explained to him that I have pest control out every 4 weeks to spray the properties inside and out. To which he said he knows there is not a chemical that kills stink bugs and went so far as to say
"My customer had me caulking cracks and holes in hers to stop them and used a wood bug chemical but I think they still find their way in. "
There are always a few that get in in the spring when it starts to warm up. I minimize that as much as possible.
I offered him a partial refund. It is not part of my cancelation policy to refund after you have checked in - I was trying to be nice. I refunded him for the remaining night he did not stay. Within 15 minutes of sending the refund He called and cursed me out and threatened to compromise the good standing of my business.
I had another family who had requested to book for that weekend that ended up checking in and stayed 3 nights with zero complaints.
Condition of cabin: We arrived to the cabin at 10pm. Drive for 10 1/2hrs to reach this cabin to only walk in to a disaster. The steps were full of leaves and debris and was never cleaned or blown off. The amount of leaves were not accumulated there in a day or 2 but days layers! The layers of dust were so thick. Every room and everything had thick layers of dust. Immediately my husband's eyes were watering and I started to react to the dust. Over time, I had migranes that never went away until I left the cabin. The floors were not cleaned or mopped. When I wiped the floor with a wet paper towel (to see the severity of the dirtiness) it was black. There were dead bugs everywhere, even on the pillow case! There was urine on the toilet seat and the sink had hair and old toothpaste. The shower was dirty and the shelf behind the sink was never wiped and was filthy. The fan in the queen bedroom did not work forcing you to sleep in the smaller, double-size bed bedroom. The double- size bed was not even made properly. The fitted sheet was not put right and had to literally put the entire bed together. The frig was not working well and was dirty. The coffee pot had old coffee made from the previous stay and left there. The chair in the smaller bedroom had a leg that was broken. The sofa had hair, debris, and stuff on it that was so dirty. If you put the air on, you felt worse from the dust. I have videos and pictures of ALL THIS! I spent 2 hrs CLEANING THE CABIN- enough to sleep in sin

First and foremost, I do encourage you to read my other reviews.
As for this review...
I did apologize to this customer and had already requested my housekeeper go and handle the issues.
It did take me literally 15 min. into the conversation to be able to offer a solution as her husband was berating, cursing, & threatening me and I was unable to speak without interrupting. At this point, I contacted my housekeeper and told her not to approach the cabin as I was concerned for her safety. I contacted my local sheriff's office and filed a security report with VRBO.
The host did allow us to check in 15 minutes early. The entry to the cabin appeared dirty, mold around the door and mat. The full window door had pet saliva residue all over it. The couch was covered in pet hair. A broken table was beside the couch. While not as clean as we would have liked, we had paid and we were going to try to make it work. We immediately went and bought blankets to cover the couch so that we could sit. When we came back, we watched some TV, trying to convince ourselves that we could handle the conditions. When I went to take a shower and pulled back the curtain there was a wad of human hair on top of the drain from the previous guest. If there is still hair on the drain it is my opinion that it has not been cleaned thoroughly between guests. The shower curtain was also disgusting. At that point, I knew I couldn’t spend the night there. I contacted the host who informed me that the property had been cleaned to her specifications. She said we were welcome to apply for a refund. We packed our things and found that several stink bugs had attached themselves to our pillows while they were on the bed. We spent approx 2 hours in the cabin for over 400. I know people have different standards but I would eat 450 and the cost of a hotel to avoid sleeping there.

For future guests, Please consider reading my other reviews. I do wish I could upload a video as a reply as I went directly to my cabin to film the condition for my records as well. There was no hair in the shower nor was there pet hair on the sofa. We are pet friendly so a stray hair, here and there, is certainly possible but not to the degree that cleanliness is an issue.
Cozy little cabin, not too far from town. Host is great with responding in a timely manner, one of the beds is very comfortable, the only complaints i have are that one of the beds was very noisy, and there were an abundance of stink bugs, i understand that is basically and unsolvable problem though. I just really hate stink bugs.
This farm was a great place to get away and relax. We loved being able to take walks on the farm and see the animals. We enjoyed feeding the goats. Cabin was cozy and enjoyed eating breakfast on the deck every morning.
We ended up going to a hotel in Fayetteville.
The ad on VRBO stated that the cabin slept 7. Our reservation was for 6 adults. There were 2 beds, a queen and a double. That sleeps 4. there is a fold out couch that would fit one adult or 2 kids. That’s still just 5 adults. It also said there were 2 baths, one was inside and nice. The other turned out to be just a shower head outside with no walls.
That being said, the cabin would be great for a small family or up to 4 adults. It’s small and cozy but still nice.
We loved this cute tiny cabin. First trip with our puppy and this cabin was perfect. Our dog had a blast interacting with the goats across from the cabin. We sat on the balcony every night and watched the fireflies light up the field. Laurie was a great hostess and was quick to answer all my questions.
My friend and I loved the cabin. Really enjoyed having the fire pit outside.
I wish there had been a better description of the tools provided for the kitchen and bbq. We ended up having to purchase a few things that we could have brought...such as a knife for chopping. We left it there for the next guest. 😉
