3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6) Lots of privacy.
Enjoy the decks, porches, with light and bright inside spaces in this 3BR, 2BA home just a short walk to Good Harbor Beach and Long Beach. Also convenient to Rockport, Gloucester Harbor, downtown Gloucester, or take the short train ride to Salem or Boston.
Wrap-around porch plus large deck. Beautiful gardens, lawn area, deck with grill area, private outdoor shower, and parking for 2-3 cars
Indoors, you will find a fully equipped, large kitchen, dining table for 6, plus extra bar seating . There is a water filtration system throughout the house.
Numerous seating areas, with a large and comfortable TV area. Bedroom 1 Queen,Bedroom 2 Queen, Bedroom 3 Two single beds. Renters provide their own sheets and towels.

Great beach rental

Loved staying at The Hill this week. Excellent location - near the beaches, and the best food / ice cream in town, with a summer outside shower. Very comfortable accommodations, and the wrap-around deck was superb to enjoy the morning coffee and evening beverages.

The Hill was a perfect place for a family vacation!

The rental home was perfectly situated near several beaches, excellent restaurants and local attractions. The Hill offered a perfect getaway for our family vacation and we hope it will be the first trip of many to Gloucester. The hosts were wonderful and replied to all of the questions we asked. Thank you for renting out your summer home!

Great find

We were very happy with our stay. The location is convenient for driving trips to Gloucester and Rockport, as well as walkable to Good Harbor Beach. The only drawback on the latter is that the walk is down a street with no sidewalk so it’s not an especially pleasant walk - but it’s short, and the easy access to the beach more than makes up for it! I would stay here again and recommend it to others looking to stay in the area.

Good house, good location.

The house and property would have been great for our group, had the upstairs shower been available(leak that was not fixed prior to our stay) and an electrical problem upstairs affecting the bathroom and one of the bedrooms, and upstairs AC unit. The downstairs(living room, bathroom, and kitchen) were nice, spacious, and comfortable. The wrap around covered deck was large and a nice sitting area. The property grounds were nice and well taken care of.

I did give notice prior to your arrival of the shower issue and you said you were still ok with renting. While at our property you broke multiple house rules. This is a pet free property and you brought a dog without any communication with us. You had a guest smoking cigarettes on the property right in front of our lower unit. You also were asked not to use the lower units deck area but still allowed your guests to walk through that area when walking the dog. When you blew the curcuit breaker we responded immediately to try to solve the issue and unfortunately was not able to get the electrician there to address it until after you left.

Great location

The house was in a great location to enjoy Good Harbor Beach. It was also close to downtown Gloucester, delicious ice cream, and grocery stores. Pippa was very responsive to any issues that arose. The only downside were the small bedrooms and only 1 window air conditioner unit on the top floor for all 3 bedrooms. It kept the upstairs cool with all doors open though.

Open space, proximity to beach

The main floor is lovely- open and airy with lots of windows. Living room has lots of space and seating to hang out in along with nice wraparound porch. Amazing outdoor shower! Great to be able to walk to two very beautiful beaches (about 10 minutes), especially since parking can be difficult and expensive. However, important to note that first part of walk is on a very busy main road with no pedestrian path. Host is very responsive.
