This place is an amazing romantic getaway with a beautiful upstairs bedroom with spa like bathroom. The skylights make this cabin a wonderful place to enjoy the surroundings. The living room downstairs with a wood stove is a cozy place to see the sunset and play gamesThe kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need to cook. Robert is a wonderful host that is always available to answer any questions you might have. I will definitely be staying here again

Thank you for your lovely stay! We love all of our 5 sky lights letting the stars and the moon shine over the bed as well. Fires for cold nights, and a fully stocked kitchen keeps us cozy and fed! Hope to see you again soon!
Wonderful little house! Given the open-loft style of the master bedroom upstairs and the bunk beds in the smaller downstairs bedroom, I'd recommend this house for a couple or a family with one or two older children. That being said it worked out just fine for us (2 adult couples with a packed schedule). The kitchen seemed well-stocked (though we didn't need/use much), all the appliances including heating and a/c worked well, and the master bed was very comfortable. We liked the cozy touches and the decks as well!I highly advise following the owner's instructions on getting to the house and leaving. My Google maps took me the same way. While Scenic isn't technically a 1-way street, going that route makes getting into the driveway very easy, and makes it easy to back out and go. The parking was super easy for a house up there as well (and I'm from the area, so I know just how crazy some driveways are up there!). Also, this location is great for exploring different parts of the mountains, very central.Robert was very communicative and offered plenty of tips for our stay. 10/10 host. We kinda panicked at the end not knowing where we could drop off our trash on the way out (there aren't exactly open dumpsters at the airport), but he was even nice about that. Plan ahead if you can in regards to being able to take your trash with you, be better than us haha! All in all, we had a wonderful experience at this house and would stay there again if the opportunity arose!
We left the city for a rest in the mountains. We couldn't have found a better spot. The views were incredible. The cabin is well appointed. The surprise is the master suite. The spa tub was fantastic. Our host, Robert, was very responsive. Thank you Robert.

Thank you for your wonderful stay at The Pines. I appreciated the messages. Welcome back next year!!
Upstairs room was nice. Unable to enjoy it comfortably. As from the moment we walked into the home it was 86 degrees and the air conditioning was not working. We contacted the host and we were told just open a window and door. Not let me get in touch with air conditioning company to see what the problem is. The host has great gas lightening techniques and does not take responsibility for anything. The home stated it had air conditioning that worked. Which is false advertisement as the air conditioning didn’t work. The host claims there was a heat wave that’s rare. Which if you live in California you know that there is a heat wave every year. The home never got below 80 degrees. Host continued to make rude derogatory remarks to us. Example why don’t you try living in the natural world. Example you big city people come up here expecting high quality air conditioning like hotel experience. Well I’m not from the big city. I’m from the low desert attempting to get away from the heat to the mountains and to a cabin that states has air conditioning. For the amount of money we paid that should of happened and never did. I would be better off staying in a hotel for the amount of money we paid, probably receive way better service and air conditioning that works. If you rent this place be prepared to be asked to do chores. The host is more worried about having you water his plants than making sure you have a comfortable stay. Including air conditioning that works properly as advertise.

Thank you for your feedback. The AC was working but was weakened due to the intense heat wave; we repaired it the next day and replaced the capacitor, so it’s now fully functional for future guests.
Heather and her husband mentioned twice that they were ‘very much enjoying their stay’ and ‘would come back again.’ Our home offers access to all five lakes, hundreds of miles of hiking, minutes away from Sky Park, amazing restaurants, and one-of-a-kind view.points.
We provided Heather with an early check-in, an extended full-day late check-out, and allowed her to bring three animals—something we’ve never allowed before.
With over 125 five-star reviews, we’re ranked in the top 5% of homes in the county based on ratings, reviews, and reliability.
We also offered a complimentary night as a goodwill gesture. Thanks again for watering the two balcony plants!
We needed a quiet weekend away in the mountains and this cabin was perfect. And with its modern kitchen and bathrooms, we didn't have to worry about things not working. Also the pet-friendliness was a big bonus. They were thoughtful enough to have a patch of artificial grass on one of the balconies for late night bathroom runs for our dog.
We encountered a few small issues, but each one was quickly resolved by the host. They were flexible with our booking dates and stayed in touch with us before and after the stay to ensure there were no problems.
Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet weekend in the mountains, but with modern luxuries and a responsive host, especially for dog owners.

Thank you for a lovely stay and taking great care of the home. I'm so happy you enjoyed your time! Welcome back again 🙂
The home was very comfortable and cozy with all modern details and amenities. The special and detailed touches from the owner was appreciated. Close drive to SkyPark, Santa’s Village and Lake arrowhead village. The master bedroom was beautiful with an extra soft bed. The 2nd bedroom was small and cozy with firm beds. The home had everything we needed and we will be back again soon.
