About this property
Lakefront Retreat At Randolphs Landing
This large 3 bedroom, 2 bath has been completely renovated and is located at the ever popular Randolph's Landing. The landing is under new ownership and new management and has been completely overhauled and renovated from the convenience store to the hotel rooms and campground that are currently still being renovated. This home is absolutely gorgeous and with an amazing view of Lake Marion from "the Home of the Big Cats". This home has 2 separate dining areas, 2 family rooms / dens (one with a fireplace), huge screened porch on the waterside with large sink / bar. There is an outside grilling deck, boat launch, as well as your own private boat slip. Inside there are plenty of sleeping arrangements, side by side fridge, washer and dryer and cable TV in every room. The convenience of having the restaurant, hotel and bait / tackle shop / convenience store on site means you never have to leave the serenity of your vacation. There is a local Dollar General just down the road so if you need something that's not on site chances are you don't have to go far to find it. If you have extra guests that pop in and need a place to stay the hotel on site has been newly renovated as well and can accommodate any last minute guests. The pier and the beach are shared with the campground.

House was just as advertised. Very nice and clean. Nice to have private parking and access to a boat ramp. Store was well stocked and had great pizza. Will definitely be booking again!

The picture does not accurately describe the property. The house is boxed between a trailer park ( with one close enough to be in the back yard) and what appears to be a small motel; the only separation is a rope. The front porch had unknown animal poop all over it. There were spider webs all over the closed in back porch, and some in the house. The front shower is extremely small and narrow; rust in the sinks. The mattresses in the bedrooms rest on painted slabs. The house smells like mildew. The house is very neatly arranged and spacious inside. The ocean is beautiful, but not worth the other stuff to me.
This property is in the back of a mobile home/camper park, but it is the PERFECT venue for someone wanting the water, a diner to walk to, and some peace and quiet!!

We were not given check in instructions before we got to the site. It ended up being fine, the shop at the end of the drive has the owners of the house and they will help you with the check in. When you enter the camping area it has signs saying that you cannot bring a boat into the camping area but where the house is you have to go into the camping area. It kind of throws you off but you are fine to bring the boat and park it at the house. It has a large driveway. You are right next to the boat launch and the bait shop. The private boat slip isn’t really true. There is only one spot to pull your boat up to the dock and you cannot tie off there overnight. The kitchen has plenty of mixing bowls, pots, pans, and dining ware. They do not keep a stock of toilet paper, sponges, paper towels, extra towels, or extra bedding. Any time we ran out of trash bags or TP we just went to the bait shop and they were more than happy to give us what we needed. I am sure it would be the same with blankets and towels. There isn’t really much of a beach for swimming in front of the house but if you walk less than 100 feet from the house to the dock area there is a little beach with some chairs. If you have more than 2 people where you want to sit on the porch together you will want to bring your own chairs. Overall it was a nice house and easily fit 6 adults and 1 kid. I wouldn’t mind staying here again, I would just have liked a little more info beforehand.
We were here for a Bassmaster Open and loved having a boat ramp so close for practice days. The area was very quiet! I also enjoyed breakfast at the diner several days!
The house was right on the lake. Fishing was excellent. Loved the bait shop and diner being si close. Everyone we dealt with was extremely friendly and helpful.
We had a great time at this location! Our family had plenty of room and we were right on the water (which is where we spent the majority of our time). The house had all the space we needed for us adults and teens to be able to hang out without being crowded. We also loved the screened in porch area as well. I will say, I thought we were able to walk directly from the yard into the water but there are a line of big rocks there running along the lakes border. However that was no biggie because we were able to walk over to a beach area and swim. Michael was also awesome to communicate with as well! 10 out of 10 recommend!!

Not what it looks like
Property wasn't clean..spider webs in living room and kitchen.. shower was stopped up and toilet ran all the time...roaches came out everytime we cook ... furniture was stained...THIS HOUSE NEEDS UPGRADED
This lake house was right on the water so it was amazing to see the sunrise and sunset at the lake. Very relaxing and peaceful place. The house was very clean when my family arrived and there was a little basket of snacks/bottled water, which was a nice touch. The bathrooms are a little small but the rest of the house is pretty roomy. The property manager was highly responsive to emails and came out very quickly when notified that the heat wasn't working well (the first night was down in the 20s and the heat had been off). We did assume there was a hot tub from the photos but there isn't. There's also no dishwasher. The screened porch area is very nice with a foosball table and cornhole boards. All in all, a very nice property to stay at and we would love to stay there again. Next time we'll bring fishing poles!
