AMAZING SUNSETS

Beautiful location and Stunning Sunsets. A 2nd shower would have made this property that much more, but a fantastic renovation none the less. I will definitely want to stay here again for next years event.

Adding a second full bathroom is definitely on our “to do” list for future projects as well as an outdoor shower so maybe by next year when you stay with us again, we will have that done or at least in the works! Lovely and serene

We stayed here to be close to our son’s home. This was a very quiet neighborhood. The house is situated on Lake Sante Fe so your views from the back porch are mesmerizing.

Great place!

Twelve contra dancers from Birmingham , Alabama came to Melrose for contra dance weekend with Wild Asparagus at Dancing Fish venue. It was a wonderful, clean and well appointed house. Hosts even bought a 12 quart stockpot for our shrimp boil. Very responsive hosts.

A Serene Lakeside Retreat

Our stay at this beautiful home on Lake Santa Fe was nothing short of perfect. The views from the screened-in porch were absolutely incredible, providing a peaceful backdrop for our mornings and evenings. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet, adding to the overall sense of tranquility. We were especially captivated by the stunning sunsets each night. This is a place we would gladly return to for another relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

House with a view!

Great lakefront property. Pictures are accurate, beautiful house, and many enjoyable sunsets over the lake. The house was clean which is always my top priority. The beds were comfortable. The appliances in the house are excellent. We enjoyed seeing boaters, jet skis and wake boarders on the lake on Saturday. We would stay here again and would recommend to others!

Beautiful views over the lake

My husband and I spent 3 weeks at this beautiful property. The house has windows all around it and wonderful back and front porches. The sunsets through the cypress trees were magnificent! My husband loves to fish and hooked into some big ones, but unfortunately there was a cold snap when we were there so the fishing wasn’t as great as he had anticipated. Overall, we had a great stay!

Spring Break on a Lake

After driving 1200 miles we were delighted to watch the sunset from the dock and listen to the birds and life around us. The home is delightful. There were 4 of us and we enjoyed the porch overlooking the lake and our family time. The owners are excellent... easy to communicate with and answer questions. We brought a boat, which made exploring fun too... the lake is beautiful. The proximity to the Gainesville Airport is excellent... makes travel easy too. This is a quiet peaceful home to regroup after a long winter :)

What a beautiful paradise

Had an amazing stay and it couldn’t be a more beautiful home. Bunnies, hawks, owls, squirrels, turtles, and fish everywhere. The beautiful Cypress and lapping waves of Lake Sante Fe, I felt like Marjorie Kinan Rawlings watching a deer and dreaming of being on the water as I rocked on the swinging bed on the most beautiful porch watching candy colored sunsets or even enjoying a run in the rain, washed anew in fresh dreams enjoying the area. Refreshing to say the least.

Great graduation vacay

Great house on the lake. We had a wonderful time. We only have 2 suggestions. 1. The upstairs bathroom needs a curtain at the window. You can see the person showering. We had to purchase a shower curtain rod and a dark linee.2. I would recommend having a iron.Otherwise it was great

Thank you for your review. Since your stay we have resolved the issue with the window in the upstairs bath. We installed a shutter on the window offering the privacy needed when showering and general use of the bathroom.
