This 6 bedroom/4 bath beach home is located on the far eastern, relatively quiet end of Folly Beach and is perfect for a family get-together. Listen to the wind rustle the marsh grasses from the very spacious back deck, which provides a spectacular view of the marsh and all the wildlife that calls it home. The deck is equipped with standard patio furnishings. It also has a small dock that reaches a short way into the marsh to a small creek, which is a great option for crabbing during high tide. Although this home has a marsh view, it is simultaneously just across the street from the beach, giving you truly the best of both worlds. From the front deck you can hear waves crashing on the shore and catch the wonderful ocean breeze. This is an ideal location for locals and visitors alike. Inside, the home is furnished in a beach-cottage-chic style. The public areas are very open providing a nice flow throughout. While the house boasts a large open-style layout, it also has quiet and privacy in each of the rooms. A large dining room table provides a great place to share a meal while the living room invites you to gather and share some time together. Large windows and doors overlook the deck and bring the natural beauty of the marsh into the comfort of the living and dining rooms as well. The bedrooms are spacious and boast many sleeping options. One of the bedrooms downstairs shares the same marsh view as the living room. The spacious master bedroom is located upstairs, and comes equipped with a private bath and shower.The home is raised on stilts providing covered parking as well as additional parking in front of the house. Also beneath the home is an outdoor shower for rinsing off sand, and keeping the beach outside. Like a gentle giant, this house is large and humble at the same time with enough character to make it charming without being extreme.
