Spent a long weekend on Sanibel in Capt. Ed's Cottage for our anniversary. The space was small but clean and comfortable. It was in a great location - short walk to the beach and a close drive or bike ride to several restaurants. We very much enjoyed our stay and would book again.
It was quiet and peaceful. Short walk to the beach was nice. We love Sanibel and it's encouraging to see the recovery they have made so far from hurricane Ian.
We booked to stay and celebrate our 20th Anniversary and it was just perfect! It was a very easy walk to the beach and if you didn't want to walk there were bikes to use. The grounds around the cottage was clean and very nicely done.
This is one of our favorite places to go and our favorite place to stay. We have been returning every couple years for the last 20. The new management is super and the renovated units are spotless. The additions to the outdoor seating is nice. It was too cold to use them this time but we will be back.
Great location. Could ride bike or walk to beach and periwinkle dr. The food at all the restaurants was outstanding. Even though this island was still in recovery there were lots of businesses open. Beds were very comfortable and everything we needed was in our condo.

Loved my cottage. Everything was clean and updated comfy. They were working on landscaping. Will be back
Very well appointed, convenient walk to beach and perfectly comfy. Quiet, sweet outdoor area and the decor inside is lovely. Thanks Cat! We’ll be back.😇
Cottage was very cute and clean. Everything was exactly as described. Close to shopping by car. The beach is a 5 minute walk(no car parking there). King bed was very comfortable— not so much for sleeper sofa; thin mattress so metal frame was felt when lying down. I wish there was a make-up mirror or full-length door mirror in bathroom since the wall mirror was positioned too high to see myself. Otherwise a nice, relaxing stay in a very cute island cottage.
Make reservations ahead of your trip several months for better prices. Plan on walking shoes. You walk alot! Parking was great for us at the cottage and the room was clean. The host was very cordial. We shelled mostly and went to the beaches more than shops. Very beautiful and relaxing.
The cottage is smaller than , the pictures on the Internet. But, very nice & cute. Parking is a problem. If a big suv is parked there , there’s hardly any room to get your car in to your spot. But , there is extra spaces by road , away from your cottage. Very pet friendly . And so are the near by beaches.
A clean, comfortable and convenient place to stay, close to the beach and popular sites
Everything was what we looked for except our interaction with the people who oversee the property was minimal.

Cute room, no wi-fi
The room was cute and the location was excellent. They have some beach equipment that you can use. Unfortunately the wifi didn’t work and the staff brought a hotspot that did nothing.
