Gardner's Eden is a family-owned and operated house located just off of 30-A in Old Seagrove Beach. Situated about 120 yards from the beach, you can easily walk down to the water or to Seaside (literally 10-15 yards away). It is situated on a private, dead-end street with no through traffic. The house is 2 floors with 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths and sleeps up to 6 adults comfortably. The unbeatable location provides quick and easy access to the state park, local restaurants, shopping, and the neighboring communities (Seaside, Seagrove and Watercolor), yet provides an escape away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds.
Gardner's Eden has an open floor plan, perfect for families or enjoying the company of friends. The large living and dining area flows into the well equipped kitchen. One of the first floor bedrooms contains a king bed, the other first floor bedroom contains two twin beds, each with an en suite bathroom. The primary bedroom and bathroom are located on the second floor.
French doors from the master bedroom open to a balcony which offers a spectacular view of Seaside. A spiral staircase leads to the third floor Crow's Nest, the perfect spot for enjoying the panoramic views of the Gulf and Seaside. The downstairs porches and decks offer plenty of outdoor space and ways to relax, whether it is cooking dinner on the grill, sitting on the porch swing or enjoying the outdoor shower. THERE IS NO ACCESS TO ANY POOL FACILITIES WITH GARDNER'S EDEN. There is a front door security camera.

Our first trip to Seaside, FL due to a wedding at The Court. The house is beautiful and in a great location! Easy to walk to beach, restaurants, etc. but far enough away from the craziness. Certainly helped to have a dedicated parking spot at the house since parking is a huge challenge in this town. And it was nice that the house is on a dead end street!Communication with Ellen was outstanding! We noticed that the chain on one of the bikes was broken and she had two brand new bikes delivered the next day! We also greatly appreciated that she accommodated our check-in and check-out requests.
The host was incredibly friendly and easily reachable. The house was fantastic as well. Its layout, close proximity to the beach, and location on a dead end street make it ideal for families.
We really enjoyed the stay. This place fit all of our needs. Was really close to the square and great for relaxing for the week. Quiet and peaceful! Can't wait to return.

House was kind of off the beaten path and at the end of a road with a lot of debris. Hard to figure out easiest way to get to the beach. Hot tub was hard to use and the cover was in shreds causing debris in the tub. Very old outdoor furniture…the top to the table next to hot tub wasn’t attached and the furniture on the widows peak was moldy. The agent was amazing but disappointed in the condition of the house given the amount of money I paid.

I do want to address a few of your points directly. Regarding the hot tub cover, you were notified prior to your complimentary early check-in that it was being replaced. Unfortunately, shipping delays have extended the timeline, which is outside of our control.
In terms of operation, the hot tub is designed to be very straightforward—the controls are clearly labeled with a red arrow for increasing temperature and a blue arrow for decreasing it. That said, I’ll look at adding even clearer guidance for future guests.
As for the furnishings, I understand your comments and will review those items.
Regarding the debris along the road and access, I agree it’s not ideal. However, that is not specific to this property and is something seen throughout South Walton at times due to visitors and their lack of respect for our community and beach. It’s not something managed at the property level.
We take pride in the experience we offer and make every effort to communicate proactively and accommodate guests—such as your early and late check out. I appreciate you sharing your perspective.
Great Location. Close to the beach and the square and Publix and tennis/workout facility. Has everything you need and is perfect for 6 people. The Property Manager was easy to communicate with and very prompt and courteous.
House was beautiful and just one street over from the Seaside entrance. House was well equipped, beautifully landscaped and was a quick walk to the square.
