About the host
Hosted by Garrett Martin
I care about compassion and creativity. Empathy, ideas, hard laughter. My day job is Creative Director at an ad agency that specializes in travel, non-profit, and cause-oriented campaigns. My non-day job is filmmaker. I dropped out of college when the band I was in was signed to a European record label. We toured 18 countries across Europe, and two weeks in Japan. After that, I wrote & directed a feature-length documentary in Central America with my best friend. We did the whole film festival circuit thing, then I went back to college to finish my degree. Journalism & philosophy... but fell into a career in advertising & filmmaking.
