Our stay

Location was excellent. Quiet and peaceful. Had everything we needed. Beach was a leisurely 6 min walk. Jen was a dream and so very helpful with booking and questions.

Great location. So Peaceful.

The house was clean. Great location. Short walk to the beach. Pool was not crowded. The only complaint was the bed was very squeaky and uncomfortable in the master bedroom.

Family vacation

The house was ok clean close to the beach we really liked that.everything was good on the house except it’s time for better beds and the wors part was that the pool wasn’t good to use at the time.over all said I think i would rent again with new beds will recommend 😉

Friendcation 🎉

The house was in the perfect spot for our crew ! The beds had sand in them when we arrived( a quick wash did the trick ) , the dishwasher needs to be replaced … all in all though we had the BESTTT vacation . We left a few fun things in the downstairs storage for kiddos to enjoy the beach !! We would 100% stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a small house with enough parking underneath for 3-4 cars. There is a small pier on the lagoon readily available and in close proximity to the house. We like this location as it is usually quiet and away from the chaos and traffic, but you can get to the central area to shop or eat in 10-15 mins. The beds and pillows could be more comfortable, but were adequate.

Great stay!

I’ve been to gulf shores, and ft. Morgan, many times. I’ve rented some very nice homes. The stick house, is the nicest one I’ve rented yet. It’s peaceful, and quiet, especially during the week. We had people ranging from 59-87. The steps were doable, even a couple times a day, for the eldest. It is a ver nice home, and I would love to stay there again.

Absolutely wonderful

This was our first time renting a vacation place. Normally we just stay at hotels. This place was amazing! It had everything we all wanted in one location. From making our reservation to actually staying, I never had any issue getting ahold of someone. They answered very promptly. Our only regret is we had to leave. I would suggest new mattresses on the beds though. But overall it was absolutely amazing!!

We loved the property and it was a short proximity to the beach. However, the listing says community pool but that pool is not open yet, so that is misleading! Otherwise, it was clean and spacious and we loved our stay!

Great little house with a water view. A clearly abandoned construction project between the house and water blocks access to the lagoon. Its a short walk to the beach and there is a walking path all the way to the pass. The beds are visibly sunken in. Bring your pain meds. Plenty of parking, up to 4 normal sized vehicles.

We had a great stay!

The Stick house was a great stay enjoyed by the whole family! The house was able to accommodate two families with small children very comfortably. Two of the bedrooms had exits to the wrapped deck overlooking the pool and the pier which was a plus. Unfortunately, the pool was not open, it would have been perfect for the hot afternoons. Even with the pool closed it did not reduce the value to what this place had to offer. The beach was just a few short blocks away and was a very pleasant 5-10 minute walk. Food and grocery is very close by, we were able to bike to many different options, so no need to worry about having to drive everywhere if you choose to bring bikes along. Overall the home was clean, spacious, and close to the beach! What more can you ask for?

Cute and cozy beach house!

Our stay at the Stick House was better than I anticipated. I was upset that the neighborhood pool was not open due to inspection. I felt misled as it did not state this information when I booked months ago. This was out of the hands of the owner. We spent our time at the beach and didn’t even miss the pool. It was a very short walk to the beach and the location of the house was great! We had an issue with the oven and the property manager had a new one installed the very next day. I would definitely recommend this property! It was very clean and we enjoyed our stay after all!

Quiet Getaway

Our trip was on the tail end of most AL schools spring break. While the main areas were busy the Stick House is located on a nice quiet road. Looking around it seemed the neighborhood (10 units) was a 50/50 mix of owners and rentals. It’s not party central, just quiet place with relaxing mornings looking out on the lagoon from the porch. Beach access is super convenient. Our little red wagon made many trips back and forth. There is also a nice boardwalk and trail that heads down to Lagoon Pass Park. Great place for bird watching and seemed popular with fishermen. Inside the house had everything we needed. A stocked kitchen, clean floors and fresh linens. Bedrooms had extra table fans stored in the closets. My wife likes to sleep in a windtunnel so it was a pleasant surprise. Internet and TV work great for keeping the little ones entertained while the adults strategize the days activities. Full cable channel lineup so won’t be without on those rainy days. Pool is complete and appears to open really soon. Not made for swimming laps but a nice little hang out when the surf is too rough. Overall, we left without any negatives to our stay. We appreciate Jen for answering our emails quickly and have this spot bookmark for next time.

Our stay was amazing. The listing states that there are no chairs or toys, but there were plenty in the storage. The pool is close and it was clean. AMAZING STAY

The pool is right behind the house and the inlet right behind that. Absolutely stunning sunsets and sunrises. Perfect view from the pool. The walk to the beach wasn't far either. We would absolutely stay here again! The home was clean and the beds were comfortable. We didn't have any issues with our stay!

Stick House

The location is great. A short walk to the beach. My son loved fishing off the pier. I enjoyed the swing under the house. Very relaxing. Plenty of room for our family. A few negatives. The sliding glass door was cloudy from probably a broken seal, so you couldn’t really see the view of the water very well, which was disappointing. The queen room sliding glass door was the same. Also, the kitchen could use a really good deep clean. Certain things didn’t look like they had been cleaned in quite a while or if they were, not very well.
