Thanks, Colleen. Those old wide board floors are from the 1860's or thereabout. We found a newspaper insulating the wall of an upstairs closet when we renovated in 2001. It was dated 1865! So glad you enjoyed your stay.

Sharen and Mike were excellent hosts. Very responsive and friendly. House is stocked with the essentials you would need. Bed was comfortable. It was great to be able to stay there with my dog and plenty of outdoor space to roam. Not far from the center of Woodstock for restaurants and shopping as well as plenty of outdoor activities.

We really enjoyed staying here. The house is rustic but has all the amenities you need. The property is fun to wander around on and the host showed us how to get down to the river to take the dogs for a swim. It’s conveniently located about 10 min from downtown and just a couple of minutes from a really great local grocery store.

Gorgeous scenery - the home is perched on a little hill with views of the vines! You are located 10-30 minutes from so much to do in Woodstock and Quechee! The river is accessible right after you pass the covered bridge near the property. It was a neat stay. Sharen communicated wonderfully.

Super friendly and helpful host. The house is in a beautiful location and the views are great. Although the house looks old (in a good way) from the outside everything is updated. It was 2 degrees F out the weekend we were there and the house was warm, cozy and draft free.We plan one being back next winter.

Woodstock Farmhouse

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to explore Woodstock, Vermont! Centrally located to all you want to see & do; this property is big enough for a family or group of friends and cozy enough for a couple. The host couldn’t be nicer or more attentive!

Excellent Vermont country getaway

We enjoyed staying in this rustic farmhouse. The house is clean and spacious. The porch overlooks a mini vineyard, which is most unusual and definitely a picturesque plus in New England. The neighborhood is quiet, and in close proximity to town. The owner is very responsive communication-wise.

Peace on the farm

Cross the covered bridge and you have arrived in a true rustic paradise! Quiet, clean and simple. Perfect location to everything. We loved our stay and will certainly be back next year!!
