Want to head into Salida for lunch one day? Follow the bike path to town! Live like a local and ski and bike all on the same day! We cannot wait to host you!

All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, salt and pepper and coffee filters. Bring your own laundry detergent, paper napkins and toiletries.

Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 pm.

All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.

Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund minus a $125 Cancellation fee or a $75 Change fee if applicable. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions.**

This home is cozy, nicely decorated, and clean. The kitchen has most essential items with plenty of storage and counter space for making large meals. There is a very private patio which is comfortable for enjoying Mountain View’s and beautiful sunsets. We would gladly stay at this residence the next time we visit Colorado.

Great Location at "CrossRoads of the Rockies"

For a brief stay (3 nights), this is an excellent property and location. There is easy access to Salida, Buena Vista, Monarch ski area, or over one pass to Gunnison, or over another to the Saquache valley. The property is comfortable, clean, and provided everything we needed. As good as it gets.

The property was extremely clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Parking for one car in the drive and second across the street in a parking area. The location is perfect for getting to lots of out door activites.

This was one of the cleanest places I have stayed at. The house was beautifully decorated, felt homey and comfortable. They had everything we could have needed! The fireplace was such a cool touch! Will be back to stay here, when we come back to visit family!

Our family rented this place, and we will definitely be back next year. Great location to monarch ski. My family of 4, and in laws really enjoyed this place. Very clean, comfy place. Easy, and great communication with property managers that were available if needed. Only complaint is the showers have low water pressure.

Property was beautiful. We had plenty of room for our family. The upstairs bunk room is perfect for kids. The kitchen had all items that we needed to cook breakfast in the morning. We did have a hot water tank issue, but communication and maintenance was quick!

Poncha Retreat

Ideal location, close to Salida with easy access to US Highway 50 and Monarch. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, it was quiet much of the time, only interrupted by mountain breezes. Panoramic views of the collegiate range from the patio were a good way to end each day. Inside, many amenities made our time indoors comfortable. We spent most of our time on the first floor, as we didn't require upstairs beds. Poncha Vista can easily handle a larger group without any problem. Access through the attached single car garage makes loading and unloading luggage easy and provides shelter during stormy weather. If you are looking for a place to stay near Salida Poncha Vista warrants your consideration.

Great location

We lived our stay in Poncha Springs. The home is walking distance to be the Elevation distillery and the Vino Salida winery. We did multiple day trips and this property was the perfect place to come “home” in between trips! The master bed and pillows was very comfy and it worked out perfectly to have a washer/dryer on site. Will definitely stay here again!
