Escape the city to a custom designed post and beam LAKE FRONT home built on 3 levels, including downstairs in-law suite with high-end furnishings throughout. Swim in crystale clear clean NH lake, fall asleep to the sound of loons that live on our lake. The home is 10 minutes' drive to numerous restaurants, grocery store, and world-class bakery in New London. Four-seasons recreation including local well-maintained hiking trail network, kayaking, swimming, paddle-boarding on the lake, just 20 minutes to skiing at Mt. Sunapee resort which is known for superb snow making, 15 minutes to 36 Km of impeccably groomed nordic skiing at Eastman Nordic Center. Location has it all for those who wish to enjoy peace and quiet while at the property, private lake front access, and proximity to both services and limitless recreational opportunities. Two kayaks and two paddle boards are provided.

Great family lake house

Loved the location, very quiet and peaceful. Lake is amazing, great for kayaking, swimming, tubing, fishing and to just relaxing. House was large enough for my whole family and host was very friendly, always messing back whenever we needed something.

Mountain vacation

We enjoyed our quiet and peaceful stay at this lake house. Host was very attentive to any questions we had, and even resolved a small issue we came across. We took advantage of our close proximity to lake and mountain activities during the day, and enjoyed our mornings and evenings at the house in front of the fireplace (which our dog especially loved). We will be looking forward to staying again next year.

Relaxing Getaway

I had a fantastic experience at this property. I worked remotely there for a month with two others and the internet worked great. We made great use of the paddle boards and kayaks at the place and enjoyed yoga on the dock. The movie selection was great at the house and made for relaxing evenings of cooking in the beautiful kitchen and then watching movies. The property manager was fantastic - so responsive and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this stay!

Great home for a summer vacation at the lake

My family and extended family stayed at this house for a week. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax after a long day of playing in the water. We enjoyed taking the kayaks and paddle boards over to the town beach area and the kids had a blast playing in the water and jumping off the docks. The house is in a nice, quiet location and at the end of a road that was great for taking my older dog on short walks. The house had everything we needed to have a great vacation.

we wanted a nice place on the water to relax and have some fun, we got more than we expected, it was the easiest vacation to plan and book, the host was very responsive and easy to deal with, there was nothing we needed, the house is set up with everything you need, the property is absolutely beautiful. we will definitely be back again. the host allows you to use their kayaks, which added to our fun.

Perfect get-a-way

Spent the week with my parents, sister and son- and we loved it! The lake was gorgeous and we spent most of our days kayaking, fishing, or swimming. At night we enjoyed roasting s’mores on the campfire. The house offered amazing natural light- that still allowed some daytime napping. Very close to trails to run or hike. Close enough to grocery store and the home provided all the things we needed from a kitchen. Thank you so much!

Summer vacation celebration

My teenage grandsons (students) and I (an educator) celebrated our first week of summer vacation fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming on the lake. It was the ideal getaway. The house at is ideal - bright, open, comfortable and spacious. It's rustic elegance and ideal location helped to make the trip a memorable one. Everything we needed for fun on the lake, or in the backyard, was right there. A couple of things to keep in mind: 1. The listing is accurate, in that there is no grill. I think sometimes folks just assume, and don't pay particular attention to the details. 2. You need to bring your own paper products: toilet paper, tissues, and paper napkins.

Our family had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful lake house. The house is beautiful and has everything you need; the kitchen was well equipped; the bathrooms are luxurious and the beds very comfortable. The yard is relaxing with a beautiful stone patio and large fire pit. It is very private and we loved that. The lake was crystal clear and the kayaks at the house provided fun for our entire family. We were lucky to have sunny days to swim in the lake. The hosts were wonderful to work with and made the check in and out process very easy. We can’t wait to return! We all feel very relaxed upon returning home.
