Spring has arrived at last! We are literally just steps to the beach, on the scenic route in the seaside village of Mill Bay, BC. Our garden suite has a lovely view of the ocean where the sunrises will greet you each morning. Restaurants are walking distance as is our marina, community wharf & shopping mall. Wine tasting at 9 nearby vineyards or hike, bike, golf, play pickleball at our newly opened neighbourhood courts, we have it all for a holiday to remember. Close to Victoria for easy day trips. Great location for a weekend getaway

Shannon was very welcoming, the suite was clean and had everything I needed. Will definitely stay here again.

Great location, nice ocean view

This property has easy access to the beach; you can walk to the marina at low tide. The yard and outdoor sitting areas are beautiful. The location is very quiet. We didn’t hear any traffic noise and rarely heard our hosts moving around upstairs. Shannon greeted us upon arrival and we didn’t see her again until our departure (she was available, but we had no concerns and had everything we needed) The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was very comfortable (but the pillows are rather flat) The only reason I didn’t give this property 5 stars is because we were asked to strip the bed and take out our garbage, compost and recycling before departing which is something we’ve never come across before. Not a huge request, but very unexpected.

The host was so easy to deal with, and so accommodating - super nice people. The home is in an absolutely beautiful spot, and the location is ideal. Any Brentwood parents, take note, it is a two minute drive to the campus. We wish we had known about this spot eight years ago. The amenities are beyond what we normally expect, including a brand new bbq for the use of guests. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was awesome. There was a coffee maker, with coffee provided, and they even left some REAL CREAM in the fridge - winning! All around top notch experience.

Why they chose this property

We have a bright, sunny fully contained one bedroom suite, with a 3 piece bathroom, full kitchen ( no dish washer), dining area and sitting area. There is wifi access and a TV with Netflix, Spotify and others. A sliding doors opens onto a lovely private outdoor covered patio with a a dining table and seating. Share our back garden and fire pit (not available in the dry summer months). The entrance to the suite is private with a key less entry and there is ample parking is onsite.

What makes this property unique

You can walk to the beach in 3 minutes and the view from our property is amazing. Spring is particularly beautiful time with all the colours of the blossoms. Various shops, restaurants, grocery store are just 1.6km away, so within walking distance. There are a number of wineries in the area, you will need a vehicle or you can go on a tour and let someone else do the driving. Victoria is 30 minutes away by car. Take the scenic Mill Bay/Brentwood Bay ferry over to the peninsula, to explore Saanich, Brentwood Bay and Sidney. The ferry departure is 7 minutes away by car.
