One bedroom, hilltop suite - beautiful and private!

This bright and airy guest suite gives the feeling of being in the tree-tops!

Located 20 minutes from downtown Victoria, and close to all amenities.
- Sleeps four comfortably
- Private entrance and in-suite laundry
- Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis

The kitchen is stocked with basic dishes, utensils, pots and pans, toaster, microwave, and full-sized fridge.

The spacious master-bedroom features a king sized bed with a view of the neighbouring hillside, and a walk-in closet.

The living area has a pull-out couch that converts into a queen-sized bed. A memory foam mattress topper (located in the walk-in closet) will ensure a comfortable sleep for guests. A duvet, queen-sized sheets, and extra pillows are stored in the pull-out couch storage area.

There is a TV, but this property does not have cable. An HDMI cable is provided for use with a laptop or other HDMI compatible device.

In-suite washer/dryer is available for guest use. Soap is located in the linen closet in the bathroom.

A large, private, fully covered patio is one of the best features of this property! Sit and relax on the patio furniture and enjoy the spectacular sunsets sinking into the Sooke hills. Lookout Lake and walking trails are located minutes from the property.

If you love a quiet, rural, tranquil setting this is the place. It is well equipped with plenty of room. The deck is a nice size with comfortable seating and a great view. It has easy access to Langford, Colwood and Metchosin. The multi-levels could be an issue for some. Would definitely stay here again.

A fully equipped with anything you may need one bedroom suite, separate from the rest of the house. The veranda overlooks the woods and mountain picks in the distance.The house is on a hill in a nice neighbourhood -quiet , and surrounded by nature, with beautiful views of the ocean and the mountains.The hosts go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.We particularly appreciated the fact that on the day of our arrival the host reached out several hours before the check in time, to let us know that the unit is ready and we could check in earlier, if we wanted.

Beautiful property with everything you need!

This property was beautiful and well worth the price. It had everything we needed and the bed was super comfy. Relaxing on the covered deck watching the sunset was also a great bonus. Within 15-30 min drive from everything we wanted to do. My family and I would definitely stay here again. The owners promptly returned messages and the check in process was simple!

Cozy and super clean

Thank you for letting us enjoy your wonderful rental! The unit is clean, private and very cozy. All the kitchen utensils necessary were available for use. The king size bed is extremely comfy- I had the best sleep I’ve had in a long while! We appreciated being able to have morning coffee on the large, private deck. January in Colwood

As described it does indeed have tree top views so if you’re a birder, like we are this may be a place to visit. The large deck has a NW view. The neighbourhood is extremely hilly so be prepared for lots of up and down when you go for a walk. There are stairs between the small main living area and bedroom/ bathroom so if you have any mobility issues this may not be the place for you. The kitchen is small & very basically equipped. The king size bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed exploring the local coastal parks.

Inaccurate Description

This is a lovely location but it was deceptively advertised. It was advertised as sleeping four. For 4 adults, not married to each other, with only one bed, it was way too small. Yes, it had a fold out couch, which would have taken up most of the room in the kitchen, but not all unmarried adults wish to sleep with each other-- a family reunion is NOT a swinger party. This should be advertised as sleeping three, good for 2 married adults and their child.

The parking is on the street, so you have to walk the length of the driveway and along a gravel path to the back of the house to entry. The deck overlooking the trees and hills is nice, but deck furniture has seen a lot of use. No stairs outside, but inside there are two steps up to the bathroom and a few stairs down to the bedroom. Which could be an issue if mobility challenged. The water pressure was our biggest issue as it was really difficult to rinse off and the temperature fluctuations hard to regulate. Floor noise from upstairs was also quite noticeable. All in all it served our purpose for our 4 night stay in the area. Very quiet, nice neighborhood , but very dark and a bit of a challenge to find it at night.
