What an amazing spot in the world! We absolutely loved our stay! The location couldn’t be better as access to MERA is literally across the road. We had a wonderful time walking our dogs and enjoying the area. Great dog friendly home! The property is quiet and we were able to relax and unwind. This is one of the best stocked/supplied VRBO’s that we have stayed at and we stay at a lot of them. Cheers!

Great host. House was awesome. Beautiful views. Very private and peaceful setting. House was very clean. We made a Thanksgiving meal there and the kitchen was well stocked. Fenced in yard was great.

Great space for our family coming to La Grande for a wedding reception. Really enjoyed the deck which was a great gathering space for those of us who stayed in the house and a few more who stayed in town. Even heard some elk bugles one clear, crisp morning. Appreciate the pet friendly house and fenced space.

Cabin in the Woods

It is a beautiful rustic property in a beautiful location in the woods with a fenced in yard for the kiddos and large dogs. It felt very secluded, yet it's only a few miles from all of the conveniences of LaGrande. The main area to cook, eat and socialize is large. The bedrooms are comfy and the master suite and bathroom is very nice. You can see the trail head for the MERA from the kitchen window where there are retails to hike and mountain bike. I will definitely stay there again!

We met in college and now are neighbors in La Grande. Both of us are born and raised in Oregon and have found our way back to NE Oregon after living around the West.

The Owl's Nest is located at MERA trailhead with a great view of town, minimal neighbors and lots of privacy. You are close enough for a visit to the brewery after a bike/ski or a quick trip to Liberty Cafe for an amazing breakfast sandwich.
