Granny's Farmhouse is a historic 1895 Victorian located on a working farm.

Originally built in 1895, Granny's Farmhouse is a Queen Anne Victorian beautifully restored and decorated. The house features stained glass windows, period architecture, push button light switches, and is furnished with antiques. There are ten foot ceilings, an updated modern kitchen, skylights, fireplace, and it is located on a working farm with beautiful vistas and 360 degree mountain views. This listing is for the entire main floor of the house which includes the kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. The upstairs is available to rent for an additional cost and has 3 more bedrooms which can sleep a total of 6 more people. There is no bathroom upstairs at this time but we plan to add one in the future. Note: the upstairs is not a separate space but is an add-on to the main floor listing to accommodate more guests if needed. Please message me for information on renting the upstairs.

Great Stay

We had a great time staying a week in this house. Very clean and had everything we needed. Wished we had some lawn chairs and a BBQ. Loved meeting the owner and his dog Jenny. Beautiful views and sunsets.

Farmhouse with a view

The house and its surroundings were beautiful! Everything you needed was at your fingertips. The hose was beautifully furnished and more spacious than the pictures show. We would definitely stay there again!

Granny's Farmhouse was conveniently located near our launch point for a Minam River Lodge trip. The front porch benches (not pictured in their photos) were really peaceful for afternoon drinks, listening to cottonwood trees, and overnight we could hear owls. There was so much space for our group of four to relax. And the property labradoodle Jennie was very welcoming.

Staying back in time

From the moment we stepped through the door, I felt like I was back visiting my grandparents' place! The furnishings of the home are so tastefully done with lovely antiques; it has been modernized but consistent with the time period. The house is beautiful and the gas stove in the kitchen/den area makes it so cozy. The beds were comfy and the location perfect for our purposes. Thank you!! We will definitely stay here again if we are ever back in this area!!

We were visiting family in Union County, bringing out-of-town guests and this house was the perfect way to show off the place where I grew up. Our farm is just up the road, but Granny's Farmhouse was a much nicer place to stay. I love the classic style on the inside, and it was a great place to have family over for dinner and to visit. The views were amazing and it made for a very peaceful visit.

Country living

Serene rural farmhouse on a working farm in beautiful la Grande valley. Quaint Victorian filled with antiques and nice country kitchen. Friendly, responsive host. We had a family reunion and all greatly enjoyed ourselves. Thanks, Jeri!

Antique charm with all the modern conveniences

Beautifully and respectfully remodeled property that we cant say enough great things about. Here doing genealogy research and were very comfortable inviting two new to me cousins over for lunch. Love everything about it, the decor, the respect for the history of the home, and the comfort we were able to enjoy. Thank you!

Relaxed, roomy and homey

We stayed for four nights while we accessed Eastern Oregon recreation and found this home base to be very comfy and homey. Our kids enjoyed the yard swing and friendly neighbor dog while also appreciating the architecture and old farmhouse details. The gas fireplace attracted us every evening and we appreciated all of the updated modern amenities in an old Victorian home. The downstairs main bed was extremely comfortable. Looking forwarded to coming back with additional family to share this fun spot.

Very nice, comfortable, and great environment. Stayed here to visit my sister’s family that lives in Imbler. Very quiet and quaint. Loved the old decors but has a modern kitchen.

Family Celebration

Love this beautiful farmhouse. We have stayed twice now and will continue to stay here whenever we can. The keeping room is my favorite spot to relax, visit with family and watch all the grands gather around the table.

Loved it!!

We LOVED staying here. It is beautiful, the history is fantastic, the kitchen has been remodeled. Everything was great. We only stayed for one night to break up our two travel days. It was the perfect stopover and I would book it again. It’s close to a park where my toddler could play and he loved seeing the tractors around. It is definitely not childproofed so we ran around watching him all evening, but the decorations are beautiful. Just a little tricky with toddler hands in such a beautiful antique setting.

We really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. It was conveniently located and was well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed for our brief stay and the HVAC system worked well. I would highly recommend this property and plan to stay here again when we are in the area.

I grew up out here on the farm. Then, after 18 years away for college, marriage, and five children, I was able to move back with my family. For a while we had four generations living on the farm, but Granny passed away in 2011 at age 100. Then it was a question of what to do with the old farmhouse. My husband and I offered to take on the project of remodeling and sprucing up the old house so that we could share it with others. It is our hope you will enjoy the beauty of the setting here on the farm and the charm of Granny's lovely home as much as we do!
