Dear guest, Welcome to the apartment 🍀🍃 "Am Eschholzpark" 🍃🍀! The apartment offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday or business stay: fully equipped kitchen, cozy bedroom, bathroom with window and underfloor heating. Free high speed internet / WiFi. The Eschholzpark with children's playground and jogging trails is only 100m away. The Dreisam can be reached on foot in a few minutes. Grocery stores and the Stühlinger Markt are 500 meters from the house. the bus stop is just around the corner, the tram stop is a 3-4 minute walk from the house. Free parking in front of the house. The main train station can be reached in 10 minutes, the old town in 15-20 minutes on foot. The apartment is very, very quiet. Please no parties out of respect for the neighbors! Our holiday home is ideal for young couples who would like to spend a honeymoon in Freiburg, business people or fit retirees (2nd floor without elevator). Spend your vacation at the Eschholzpark and you will be satisfied🍃!

It’s a great place to spend several days in town. The apartment is located 3 minutes away from several tram lines, easy to find, in a safe and quiet neighborhood and easy to find. The apartment is on the second floor (European) or third floor (US). There is no elevator. The apartment was clean and functional.

Stuehlinger Apartment

Initial VRBO communication was difficult. VRBO did not send us access info in a timely manner. A relative living in Freiburg had to call the owner for the lockbox code, which we then obtained just when we arrived at the Freiburg train station. While the apartment was clean and accommodating, we were unable to gain internet access or operate the TV as there were no instructions. We again had to contact the owner for assistance. Similarly, we were not able to operate the kitchen range without the owner's assistance (no instructions available locally). While we did not travel by car during our stay, we did have access to a car which we sometimes parked in front of the apartment building. All signs indicated that parking is allowed. However, there is no sign that directs one to purchase a parking pass at a vending machine that is located on the other side and at the opposite end of the street if one doesn't display a Resident Parking Permit in the car. No instructions in the apartment that would alert the guest to this requirement and the danger of being issued a ticket if a parking permit wasn't displayed on the dashboard. When we parked our relative's car the afternoon of the day prior to our early morning departure, we promptly were issued a 20 Euro ticket (very annoying). Finally, due to conflicting instructions where to leave the key, the cleaning lady could not enter the apartment and the owner had to call a locksmith to regain access to the apartment.

Parken war sicher; mit Easy Park, 18,40 pro Tag, Küche war gut ausgestattet, sehr, sehr einfach, leider auch ein wenig unsauber in den Schränken (alte Lebensmittel...).Die Wohnung befindet sich nicht auf einem Weingut, wie eine zuvor abgefragt wurde. Sehr gute Verkehrsanbindungen (Straßenbahn, Bus). Einfach die App der Verkehrsgesellschaft nutzen.

Kleine Unterkunft in schöner Lage

Wir lieben Freiburg und sind schon öfters hier gewesen, dieses Mal aber das erste Mal in einer Ferienwohnung. Vielleicht sind wir verwöhnt von vielen Urlauben in Ferienwohnungen in Deutschland, aber ein bisschen hat uns das liebevolle gefehlt. Wir kennen uns mit Gasherd und Gasofen aus, hätten wir das nicht, weiß ich nicht, ob wir uns daran getraut hätten (etwas mehr Informationsmaterial oder eine persönliche Einweisung wäre schön gewesen). Zu allem Pech klappte das Einchecken nicht und die Vermieterin war zunächst nicht erreichbar (erst über den Fewo-Support). Alles in allem haben wir dennoch schöne Tage in der Wohnung verbracht und danken für die Zeit.

Cet appartement est parfait pour un séjour à Freiburg. Il est proche de la vieille ville et des moyens de transport, parfaitement équipé et propre. La propriétaire est très sympathique et facilement joignable. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cet appartement.

Urlaub in Freiburg

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in Freiburg. Wir konnten Tanja nicht persönlich kennenlernen, aber die Kommunikation hat problemlos über Telefon und SMS funktioniert und der Check-in hat reibungslos geklappt. Die Wohnung ist genauso wie beschrieben und auf den Bildern dargestellt, die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet, auch die Waschmaschine im Keller konnten wir nutzen. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, aber dennoch recht ruhig. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Casa acogedora, barrio tranquilo y bien comunicado / Cosy house in a quiet and well-connected area

Casa completamente equipada y cómoda para familias. Está en un barrio tranquilo, a 10-15 minutos caminando del centro y de la estación central, y a 5 de tranvías a tres paradas del centro. Segundo piso SIN ascensor. La anfitriona muy amable y disponible por teléfono en todo momento. Muchas gracias Tanja! Fully-equipped and comfortable house for families. It's in a quiet area, a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre and central station, and a 5 minute walk from trams that take you in 3 stops to the centre. Second flloor, NO LIFT. Very nice host. Absolutely delightful! Total schön!

We loved the apartment with all its homely touches. Everything was provided, the bedding was good, it was in a quiet area so great for sleeping. It's a bit of a walk to the town centre (unless you're younger and fitter than us) but the trams are very frequent and it's really only a few stops. Freiburg itself is lovely - a little jewel of a town, and we enjoyed just wandering around looking at the sights. The big waterfall out of town is a bit of a hairy drive but worth it! The owner was very quick and friendly in her contact with us. We would love to come back!
