Loved our stay. Perfect location for shops, restaurants & gorgeous walk on waterfront path. So glad we didn’t have to pay for parking or look for a spot each time we went to town. My only suggestion would be to provide clearer directions or better lighting outside since it is hard to find in the dark. GPS was not correct. It Other than that, just wish we could have stayed longer!
We have stayed at over a dozen VRBO’s. This one is in a very good location. Short walk along the water to Bar Harbor. Very convenient for everything in and around Acadia National Park. The only draw back was if you are a larger person (I’m 5’9”-165) the shower is very small. Other than that it is nice….it is also connected to a larger house behind it and beside it. This is not a free standing cottage.
My wife and I stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed everything about the property. The interior was very clean and well equipped. The location is perfect with an easy walk to town and a short drive into the park. The host and property manager were both super responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay again.
Perfect little bungalow with a good view of the water
Cool place to stay and so close (easy walking distance) to downtown Bar Harbor, but yet quiet with a good view of the harbor water. Good HVAC system. Would stay here again.
Great location, ample parking and short walk to downtown or the shore path. Check in was easy and owner was prompt in communication.
The cottage could use a few more basic amenities to make it more comfortable… a simple throw blanket on the sofa would have been nice. The paperwork in the home stated starter essentials would be provided (cleaning product, laundry detergent, etc.) but there was none. The kitchen could definitely use more cookware (there was only one smaller frying pan) I booked a place with a kitchen expecting to make some meals there and it could have been better equipped. We had cobwebs in the bathroom corners with dead bugs in them, either the the rental has sat vacant for some time or was not cleaned well. Overall a good place but some basic amenities (kitchenware, cleaning products, a few more towels, shampoo/conditioner) and attention to detail would go a long way for the price!
Perfect location, easy walking along the coastline to the harbor, or to main street and all the action. The place was quiet and comfortable, with a good kitchen and plenty of parking despite being just a couple of blocks from Main Street.
This cozy cottage was located in a perfect spot right in Bar Harbor. We parked our car and could walk to town, ride our bicycles to the carriage trails in Acadia, and walk to the Shore Path. The cozy bedroom was fine, and so was the cozy bathroom and shower. Check in was easy, and we never had to contact the host. It's the perfect spot for a couple that doesn't need lots of room to spread out.
The cottage is very nice, clean and comfortable. It has one bedroom and includes a full kitchen. You have direct access to the shore path that runs along the water all the way into Bar Harbor. No need to find parking as all of downtown Bar Harbor including the cruises are easy walking distance. Acadia NP is a short 10 minute drive away. We loved staying here and would stay here again on a future vacation.
