Never again would rent this property
I am remiss to say our experience was awful with this property. 30 minutes prior to checking were told we will not going to have Linens, instructed where a Walmart was located to go buy them.
When we get to the property the absolute filth was shocking. We did have a very lackadaisical response from the property management company, who sent out somebody to take pictures and was promised an incident report. When asked how it was going to be cleaned we were told to clean it ourselves. I did ask for the cleaning products and they were dropped off in somewhat of a timely manner so we had to scrub our own vacation rental.
Vacasa Let us know that upon check out the explain to us how we would possibly be compensated for all of our unfortunate events that we encountered with this home.
My family and I went about enjoying our vacation not letting the state of the house affect spending time together and being able to enjoy Ocean City Maryland.
Upon check out at the property management company Vacasa I had to wait in line while listening to several other vacationers express almost mirroring the same complaints that we had with our vacation rental. The manager there was so abrupt and rude and explained to me that we would receive our cleaning fee back. When I asked if I could please have a copy of the incident report and all the pictures that were taken I was flat out refused and was treated so rudely. When I asked if I could have her managers phone number she told me that she is not permitted to give out a manager phone number and I was given an email address which at this point I still have had no response.
I wish I could have direct contact with the homeowner because I feel if they are paying a management company such as Vacasa They should be aware how their home is being treated.
Do not rent a property Managed by Vacasa.
