First impressions make a difference. The area around the driveway and front entrance walk is full of weeds that left the impression that the owner/management wasn't interested in that first impression. The house was as depicted and described. However, it is showing its age - scuffed woodwork, missing towel bar in main bathroom, porch screens that are loose. Otherwise, the house served us well, the main living area easily accommodated our group of 6, and we enjoyed the solitude and beauty of the area.

We had an amazing stay! The house was spotless, spacious, and perfect for a weekend getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked and easy to cook in, and the hot tub was the highlight after long days exploring Galena. Every bedroom having its own ensuite was a huge plus. We’d definitely come back!
