Great getaway!

We rented the top and the bottom portion of the cabinet together and it was perfect. The cabin was very nice and enjoyable. It was a great location for us to pick different hikes in the smoky mountains each day. I would definitely stay here again!.

The bottom cabin had two bedrooms. The bunk beds against the wall were regular size beds, but too close together for my comfort. When I laid down the top bunk was nearly on top of me, I could not sleep in it. I would suggest removing the top bunk. NO dishwasher downstairs. Forget the creek. It was overgrown and the woods had taken it over.

What a lovely cabin. The firepit at night watching lightening bugs will be one of our best moments with the grandsons. Most everything needed were already at the cabin fir our extended stay but the stores that were close made it easy to run down and grab anything. Our chocolate lab loved running around and exploring by the creek. Our daughter and her family stayed on the bottom floor while we stayed on the top so there was plenty of room for a group of 7 plus our fur baby. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this for comfort, quiet and fun. With all the things we went in town to do, my favorite was coming back to the cabin, starting a fire, then later inside for family games.

Great, but far

The place was amazing. A bunch of space for my entire family, clean and tidy. It was basically two houses in one with the upstairs and downstairs completely separate. It was overall an amazing experience. One minus though is that we rented this cabin to visit Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Sadly, this cabin was located about 45 minutes away from the city and nothing on VRBO seemed to point that out. There's a local Walmart and a few restaurants 5 minutes away so if you need anything you can go there and get it.The entry to the driveway can be hard to see in the dark, so be sure to plan accordingly so you get back while there's still light. Overall it was a great experience, but I wish I knew these things going in.

Cozy and convenient

For the most part the house was clean. There were a good amount of ants on the first floor but that’s to be expected. We bought some ant traps which helped. Otherwise, the dual cabins were very convenient for both families.

Cozy Cabin

The property was exactly as advertised. The cabin is split into two dwellings which turned out well for our party. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, as were the bathrooms. We utilized the kitchen & washer/dryer, as well. The cabin was stocked with all the basic amenities & then some. We took advantage of the games like cards, Scrabble and checkers along with the different books for all ages. It was about 30 minutes from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We had a wonderful stay. A definite recommend!
