Thank you for kind review! It was a pleasure hosting y'all and look forward to your next visit :-)
Tamara literally has thought of everything a guest could possibly need or want while staying at the Yurt. We had a group of 6 adult family members stay for a night. A 1 pm check in time was ideal so we could enjoy yard games, relax outside and plenty of time to prepare our own dinner, plus breakfast the next morning. We all highly recommend this property for an unplugged kind of experience! Thank you Tamara!!

Awww - thank you for the sweet review! It was a pleasure hosting y'all and cannot wait for your next stay!
The yurt is in a great spot on the river and is exceptionally well-supplied. Just as an example, there was everything necessary to make s’mores. Also there are dozens of games both inside and outside. Don’t think of it as camping or even “glamping.” It’s like staying in a really nice cabin, but with different walls. The air conditioning was a godsend, since we hit a heat wave. And we caught multiple cutthroat trout on the fly!

Thank you for your really cool review! I'm so glad y'all caught some fish and had a great stay. It was a pleasure hosting y'all and look forward to your next stay 😊
As described. The Yurt was a fun experience. Such a gorgeous view of the mountains and a rare opportunity to stay right on the water. The host is 5 star. We needed nothing. The outdoor living space offered games and fire pit as well as a peaceful relaxing area by the river to enjoy nature or read a book. This place is the perfect spot to UNPLUG and get back to nature.

Thank you for your sweet review! It was a pleasure hosting you both. Looking forward to your next stay.
The host has thought of everything to make your stay easy and relaxing. Very comfortable and well equipped on an absolutely stunning property. It was quite cold during our stay so we didnt get to dnjoy much of the outdoor amenities but the river access and chairs to sit and tajen in the scenerybalong with the outdoor fire area and deck would be sublime in warmer months. The ONLY surprises we had were some train noise at night (but sound machines and ear plugs were provided) and lack of wifi or a tv (which we probably wouldn't have even noticed if the weather had been warm because we would have been outside). Not deal breakers by any means; this is a fantastic place to stay and would 10/10 recommend it!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! I truly wish the weather had been warmer for your stay. It makes such a difference in getting to fully enjoy the river, deck, and outdoor spaces.
It was a pleasure hosting you both, and we’d love to welcome you back during a warmer season so you can experience everything the property has to offer.
As you mentioned, the occasional train can be heard throughout the Clark Fork River Valley (no matter where you stay about 280 miles of track), it’s part of the character of the area. But we do our best to make guests comfortable with sound machines and earplugs.
We intentionally keep the space free of WiFi and TV to create a true unplugged experience. An opportunity to slow down, relax, and recharge. We’re so glad you still found it to be a fantastic stay.
Looking forward to hosting you again! 😊
We had so much fun staying here! Property was amazing and so beautiful and Tamara was so kind!! We will definitely be coming back soon!!We highly recommend staying here!

Thank you for your lovely review! It was a pleasure hosting you both and being able to be part of your anniversary :-) I'm so glad you both had a relaxing stay. Looking forward to your next stay.
The cabin was very cozy, it was clean, and had all we needed to have a comfortable, relaxing stay. I wish we could’ve stayed more than one night because it was so peaceful, and I wanted to enjoy the cabin a little longer. We sat by the fire at night and that was really nice and it was fun to be by the river.

The yurt was beautiful! We stayed over the 4th of July and had a blast. Tamara has a wide range of amenities to make the stay even more comfortable. We especially appreciated the earplugs for the train sounds!

PS - for future guests -- staying anywhere in and around the Clark Fork River valley (about 280 miles long) you may/may not hear the train at times. Just in case you need them, we provide earplugs and sound machines :-)
The yurt was beautifully equipped, wonderfully located and incredibly comfortable. Some excellent hikes nearby. And a very friendly Superior community. We hope we have a opportunity to return.

Here’s a little background on how this Yurt project came to be:
We started Spotted Wing Vacation Rentals, LLC in 2020 to remember and honor our beautiful little girl, Kasee, who is now up in heaven. We called her our little Ladybug because she loved these pretty little bugs and always wanted to dress up as one at Halloween. Kasee’s favorite spot in the whole world was down on the beach of the Clark Fork River near this property in Superior, MT. We wanted to provide a positive, memorable experience for everyone that stays here, and, love it as much as she did and as we do. This project has been a lot of fun and has really been a labor of love for us. We hope you really enjoy staying here!
Why they chose this property
Why a Yurt, you may ask? We wanted to build and share a unique and fun rental opportunity that provides a cozy, relaxing, and enjoyable experience for everyone. We wanted to build it with all the comfort and amenities of a “normal” home, but also have the unique “Yurt” experience….how cool is that?
What makes this property unique
It's a Yurt! Also, this location, and the surrounding area, allow people to see all of the neat things that western Montana has to offer – beautiful mountains, rivers & streams, wildlife, friendly people, and countless outdoor activities to enjoy year-round. Or, you can just unplug and have a peaceful, relaxing time hanging out inside the yurt or out on the deck watching the river go by.
