Home Description: Enjoy our large and beautiful custom built luxury home on the water and walking distance to the beach in the center of the Keys. We have four bedrooms, two with a king size bed, one with a queen bed, one with two queen sized beds. There is one living room, one family room, a large island kitchen (Viking Appliances) with an adjoining dining table with 8 chairs and 2 stools for bar level eating. It's a very large home with marble floors throughout, fireplace, elevator, pool and Jacuzzi.

Area Description: New Luxury Home located on beautiful Sombrero Beach. Amenities in the surrounding area include fabulous fishing, kayaking, sailing, water skiing, golfing, tennis, bicycles, shopping and plenty of waterfront dining. Beach amenities include volleyball, playground for children, barbeque's, picnic tables and picturesque views of sandy beaches and breath taking sunsets. For additional entertainment, Key West is a nice coastal drive away for plenty of nightlife, famous '7 Mile Bridge' is 2 miles South or Swim with the Dolphins. If you are in the mood to exercise, there is 4 mile bike/running path just steps from the home and a treadmill in the house. We hope you have the opportunity to enjoy the Florida Keys as much as our family has enjoyed the beautiful weather and custom built home.

We absolutely loved our stay at this house in Marathon! The convenience of the beach steps away, the pool and hot tub to relax by and the dock to do some fishing was superb!! Our family will definitely be back!

Our family of 7 adults and 3 children enjoyed our week at this beautiful home. The house was very clean and plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed spending lots of time on the deck and in the pool. Short walk to Sombrero Beach. Would recommend for a great place to stay!

Great home for a large family.

Second time staying at this property. Close to the beach, grocery store, shopping, restaurants. Hot tub is a plus! Owner very easy to communicate with. Beautiful house.

Property is in a perfect location - however had issues with having hot water, issues with the fridge/freezer not being cold- and the kitchen could use some help with stocked items (cookware etc) as well as towels for the home- only found 6 towels for pool and that left towels for showering very slim.

Superb Location and Property

Stayed with my wife, two young kids, and two extended family members. The property was beautiful and while close to the beach, quiet. We saw manatees in the canal, with one coming directly up to the dock. Unfortunately a rare cold snap occurred while visiting and only could use pool a couple days, though enjoyable and well-maintained for use. Highly recommend the property.

Fabulous

The home is beautiful and was just right for our family ages 15-80. Close to the beach, close to town (marathon) and off the main thorough fare so quiet and peaceful. Easy stroll to watch the sunset each night. Thank you and would certainly stay again if in the Keys.

Great home for a large group

The home was perfect especially for a large group of friends. Great location - easy boat access to the Atlantic, sombrero beach is across the street and close to Publix. The owner was very kind and responsive. He went out of his way to accommodate a post surgery need I had.

Great stay in Marathon!

This house is large, clean, has a great pool and great location. Literal 3 minutes walk to Sombrero Beach. 5 minute car ride to Publix or Winn Dixie supermarkets. A/C worked extremely well, even when temps and humidity were both in the 80s. Great communication with owner Andy. Large gourmet kitchen with high end appliances (we didn't really though). Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

Wonderful and beautiful

Beautiful, spacious ,clean and close to Sombrero Reef. Beautiful pool, great dock space, tons of balconies. The beds are comfortable to. Good parking and an elevator that worked. House has a lot of stairs inside and outside. All spacious rooms and plenty of bathrooms. Super nice.

Marathon Key

Nice house. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Though some baths needed shelves for makeup and shaving gear. The kitchen had high end appliances, but the Viking freezer couldn't keep ice cream cold.

we enjoyed our stay in Marathon at this property. it is a nice layout with plenty of room and is especially well located with a short one block walk to Sombrero Beach. the owner was very easy to communicate with and was very cooperative and attentive to requests. the home is starting to show some age, however, and could use a bit more maintenance and some updating at this price point.

Diamond in Marathon

This property was well cared for, well furnished, well equipped and spacious. The pool area is a nice addition although I wish the hot tub had gotten hotter. Fantastic location a short walk to Sombrero Beach for fabulous sunsets. Love the coral decks and multistory East and West facing balconies. Well located near grocery stores and local activities such as manatee kayaking and the Sea Turtle Hospital. Highly recommend.

Great home & prime location for Sombrero Beach & Sister’s Creek Ocean access

Andy, the owner, was very responsive with any questions we had from the time of rental throughout our stay. Grandparents enjoyed the ease of elevator mobility & children enjoyed the pool. Fishing off the large private dock, short walks to the beach, & enjoying the visiting manatee in the canal were highlights this week. We’ve stayed in this neighborhood for a week over the past few years; however this home was our favorite rental by far. Cookware & appliances were nice, HVAC cooled the home well, layout & design of the home was very functional.

Wonderful Home near the beach

This is a wonderful home that is well equipped for a group. Close proximity to the beach and Marathon make if very convenient. It is fairly well equipped but it needs some tender loving care. Door knobs, faucet controls and towel racks are falling off. We were short on toilet paper and face towels on check in. No instructions were available for the spa. Due to these items i just could not give it 5 stars. It is certainly a 4 star however.

Great House, Great Location, House needs some TLC.

This is a great house and amazing location. Easy 2-minute walk to the beach and you can even see the ocean from the balcony. House is a great size with 3 big bedrooms upstairs and 1 smaller bedroom downstairs. We stayed with 2 adults and 6 teenagers and it was perfect. Pool and spa were really pretty and the heat on the spa was perfect.. The only drawback is that the house needs some TLC. Light fixtures were out, kitchen utensils need replacing, new utensils needed and furniture could use some updating. House manager, Andy, ,was FANTASTIC -- incredibly responsive and helpful and got us a few items we needed the very next day. I'd stay here again for sure but would bring a few more things from home to make it more user friendly.
