The property features an outdoor BBQ kitchen with 12-person dining/ping pong table plus heated swimming pool, bocce court, fire pit, hammocks and bikes. Take a dip in the modern container pool with giant window and Baja ledge. Several outdoor seating areas and hammocks. The tranquil setting is accessed through a private gated entrance that provides ample parking for 2+ cars. The seasonal creek adds serenity for your peaceful getaway. Fresh herbs and fruit trees available throughout the property. All within walking distance to many great locals eateries, including El Molino Central, Sonoma Eats, Spread Kitchen, Barking Dog Coffee, Cielito and the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn. Fairmont which offers great outdoor entertainment with live music and excellent food is only 1/2 mile away! Easy access to Sonoma Valley bike trail. 2-miles to Sonoma Plaza and 5-miles to Glen Ellen. You are in the heart of Sonoma Valley! Access can also be arranged for the golf enthusiasts at Sonoma Golf Club! (A-frame & entire property is available to rent also.)

Cozy log cabin

What a beautiful log cabin to stay at. The private gates to enter the property were nice and made you feel safe. The yard was beautifully landscaped! The cabin was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen plus more! It was very clean and updated and we really enjoyed the surroundsound Alexa sound system. Our only obstacles were that the rental property said the yard was completely fenced and it wasn't secure enough for our 2 dogs. There’s a beautiful creek that runs through the property that isn’t fenced and VRBO didn’t describe it as not fully fenced, which we thought it was. That was a challenge for us. Also, the second bedroom is up in a loft so you need to climb a ladder to get to it. There is another house on the property so the outside is shared with others. The 8+ security cameras made it a little awkward at times with very minimal privacy, but we understood that it was for security purposes, especially being near a creek. Very beautiful cabin, delicious restaurants very close by and there’s a big grass park next to the backyard where it was nice to take the dogs. It was only about 10 minutes to the square. The hosts were always very helpful and responded instantly to anything we needed.

As VRBO admitted to both of us, the VRBO website had an error in their software which showed the yard as fully fenced. Once we were both aware of this issue, we invited you to the property to look at the yard and we showed you the whole property including the second bedroom loft (which was in the VRBO descriptions). You told us that the property would work for you, and we also worked with you to add some temporary fencing for your dogs. Your comments in the review were therefore a surprise to us. We always welcome guests to let us know if they would like the security camera's turned off during their stay. You never mentioned that was was an issue for you as we would have turned them off immediately. It is very unfortunate that we our rating was affected due to these issues. We do our best to make sure every guest has the best stay possible. We really enjoyed hosting your family and we would love to host you again at any of our properties and hopefully we can make it right the second time!
