Come for a get away at Papa’s Place!!! This newly remodeled cabin sits on a quiet, private lake, with a large main floor, master bedroom, and a loft with a pair of twin beds. You will find a fully furnished kitchen, brand new appliances, and spacious dining area. A great place for relaxing, you can take a ride around the lake in a paddle boat, fish off of the dock, or have some S’mores around the campfire. Enjoy the sunrise over the lake while sitting next to a cozy fireplace in the cold months, or from the deck in the warm months. Crank up the AC if you need to cool off! Located just off of I-75, and situated between Sault Ste. Marie and St. Ignace, it is the perfect gathering spot to enjoy all that the Upper Peninsula has to offer. Just over 1 mile from the Chippewa County Airport, and only a 15 mile drive from the Soo Locks. For the winter months, it is conveniently located within a hundred yards of some of the best snowmobiling trails in the Eastern Upper Peninsula!

We enjoyed our stay. it was a great central location for visiting Drummond Island, Tahquamenon Falls, and the Soo. The cabin itself was comfortable and clean and met our needs well.

It would be nice if the location had wifi available because the cell service is hit and miss. The cabin is very nicely done, and we chose it because we enjoyed our stay last year there. Note: It does not list that there is wifi available, so we were not surprised by this.

"Papa's Place" was just as described, a quiet, peaceful and comfortable cabin, a wonderful cabin for kicking back and relaxing or making day trips to so many nearby attractions. Communication was great and we had no issues at all. We would come back if the opportunity was there. Thanks Vanessa for a great time!

What a peaceful escape!! We loved this lil cabin, the beautiful property and quiet lake. Great location and easy to find, less than 15 mins to the Sault. The home was so cozy and clean, with such gorgeous views of the lake. Living area is very comfortable, ceiling fans and AC when it's too hot in the day and a gas fireplace to warm up a chilly evening. The master bedroom with king bed was so comfortable, the loft was a fun lil escape too. We loved the large bathroom and huge shower. Enjoying coffee in the morning on the porch and on the dock was such a treat. It was such a nice lil place to unplug with a book, a puzzle and a radio. We would absolutely return in our UP travels!
