I have always wanted to stay in a covered wagon-- and this was a great experience. I was nervous being at an RV park but everyone was friendly and quiet. Dogs were kept under control. The Community facility was first rate--places to work, relax, cook etc. Kids seemed to be having a great time! KQ
Everything was wonderful, the amenities swimming pool, bike riding all was very nice, the only problem I can say you can hear all the traffic noise but when you’re ready for bed that seems to fade away
Staff was very friendly, even offered to help us with our campfire and deliver us wood. The site is a bit close to the freeway so you'll hear freeway noise even tucked away near the premium cottages, but otherwise the site is clean. no dog poop or trash anywhere to be seen. Well maintained site. We stayed in the stagecoaches and they were clean, it comes with a room heater that works well, almost too well. it takes a bit to figure out how to use it but it works well. the private bathroom behind the stagecoach are also heated. Good glamping experience.
Was semi worried about logistics of staying in a wagon but turned out really nice! Very cute, clean and comfortable. Not once did we get cold (heater was more than adequate!). Bathrooms were clean and really close by. Didn’t even feel uncomfortable walking to the bathroom at 2am! For the most part, a very family friendly, safe and comfortable park with unique accommodations at a good price. Only real issue (one we were not prepared for) was the noise level. The wagon walls are cloth… there’s no way to drown out the noise unless you planned ahead and maybe brought some earplugs. You literally hear everything all night long from neighbors playing music and having sex (yup!) to the cars and trucks honking and wizzing by on the nearby freeway. Bottom line - would totally stay in a wagon at this location again but would know to bring earbuds or ear plugs next time!
The wagon was very accommodating and ample room. It had a mini fridge and very clean bathroom with fresh towels. Loved the property right by verde river and has access to the river trail. Great and peaceful community as well. 10/10.
Loved the cleanliness and charm! Loved the private bathroom which surprised us! Coffee for the length of stay would have been nice but no big deal. Overall very memorable.
