South Maui oceanviews from both bedrooms and the living room/kitchen. This private oceanfront condo is on the second floor of the south side of the building ...about 30 steps along the pathway leads to the gem of south Maui, Keawakapu Beach!

Keawakapu Beach, located on the south shore of Maui, Hawaii, is known for its stunning natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere. This picturesque beach is a favorite spot for locals and return visitors and features soft golden sand, clear waters, and lush greenery surrounding the area. It's a great spot for families to swim, snorkel, and sunbathe, and watch the sun set at the end of the day.

The master Bedroom has a king size bed and en suite bathroom. Guest bedroom has two twins which can be converted to a king bed (upon request and approval). There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room so this beachfront location can accommodate six guests.

This condo is equipped with split AC units in each bedroom (no AC in the main living space). At this beachfront property we provide beach towels, beach chairs, and a beach cooler. We suggest renting beach toys (such as a beach umbrella, snorkel gear, paddle boards, boogie boards, etc) from one of the many rental companies on Maui.

Hale Hui Kai is a beloved location among first time visitors and repeat guests. There is a small shared oceanfront pool next to the common area covered lanai, which is equipped with comfortable lounge space for guests to enjoy when you need a break from the Maui sun.

First trip to Maui

Where do I begin? Wonderful property, very clean and well appointed.... But the location !!! Wow! We didn't want to leave. We had no difficulties at all during our stay. There were plenty of beach chairs, towels and a cooler for our use. The grounds were well kept. We hope to come back again someday!

I’ve been here several times and never stayed in a condo so close to the beach, with such an amazing view. The condo itself is older but has been updated. I didn’t really mind the age of the condo given it’s view and proximity to what I feel is the best beach in all of Maui. I would definitely stay here again.

It has a wrap-around balcony and a full view of the ocean and beach, just as it is shown in the property description. Having direct access to the beach, just a few steps away, meant enjoyable, peaceful walks along the shore early in the morning and great views of the sunset in the evening. We definitely will return!

Reviewer Comments: Hale Hui Kai is perfect - right on a GREAT beach (never got too crowded while we were there, great for swimming, boogie boarding and some snorkeling), central to everywhere, and has a great old school Polynesian feel. We didn't want to stay in a massive condo or resort complex with thousands of other people where we had to schlep beach gear long distances just to get to the water. It's a smaller complex and very quiet, literally just steps from the beach so easy access if you forget something, want a snack, or just need a little break from the sun. #211 is a great spot within the complex - right in front with a large lanai with unbeatable views...plenty of room for our family of 4, we felt right at home! Will definitely stay in this unit again.
