Coastal Style Pool House near the Beach

Coastal Style Pool Home Close to the Beach. New Furniture, redecorated in a warm beachy style. Fully equipped kitchen with bar counter opening to the living room and dining room. Two separate living spaces and a separate dining area make for a roomy space. Screened patio, Tropical fenced backyard with palm trees and heated pool for your outdoor enjoyment. Outdoor bar, grill, covered patio and pool toys top off your outdoor space. 1.5 miles to Deerfield Beach and the sand.

Master bedroom features a king bed and ensuite bath. French doors open to the pool and patio. Walk in closet and plenty of storage space.

2nd bedroom features a Queen bed, closet, dresser and chair.

3rd bedroom is a Fun kid's space with bunk beds and a bean bag chair for 2. The top bunk is a twin while the lower bunk is a full-size bed.

One living area offers the TV, sofa, chair and coffee table with French doors that open to the pool. The second living space features a loveseat, chair and coffee table. A great way to have space to spread out from your traveling companions or kids. Large dining room features a table that seats 6. The is a bar area for cocktails and a coffee bar. Large laundry features a full-size washer and dryer, cleaning supplies, iron, ironing board and beach bags and cooler bags.

The pool can be heated however if you wish to utilizing the heating during your stay it must be requested and there is a charge of $20 per day of use.

Very enjoyable stay

My family and I enjoyed our stay immensely. The house was beautiful; the pool area wonderful. Great location that was within walking distance e to grocery stores, Target etc. Jennifer was vey attentive to our every need. We would definitely return again.

More Than Just a Stay – It Felt Like Home

We had such a wonderful stay in this cozy and welcoming home. Everything was spotless and clearly prepared with care — from the fresh linens to the thoughtful extras like disposable shower caps, a dispenser stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, plus laundry detergent ready to go. The cleanliness and attention to detail made it feel like a true home away from home. The location was also great — super convenient and made getting around so easy. Thank you for the TLC .

Beach retreat

Home was very lovely close to the beach even though we didn’t get to visit the pool was wonderful and the house was clean only one critique. The showerhead in the master doesn’t have enough pressure because of the type of rain shower.

Very nice house in Deerfield Beach

The house was as presented in the listing. Kitchen was well-appointed and convenient. Main area was airy and open with lots of daylight. It was hot outside when we stayed and the pool was fine without the heater. Location was very convenient for us. A/C worked well. Bathroom attached to main bedroom (King) was a little small. Overall very nice.

Cute house and great location, however, not clean and needs alot of maintenance and repairs

Nicely renovated but is not well taken care of. Kitchen had ants and roaches! Master bathroom sink was leaking, main bath shower scolding hot water, coffee bar table is very unstable/unsafe , laundry room door is broken and never closes. I would look elsewhere next time

Joann, I am sorry to hear of your complaints. I would like to address them the ants that you experienced or what are called sugar ants. They come to Florida at certain times of the year and they are especially active during a rainy times which we had very much of all you were here. I explain to you that the door for the laundry room is a leveler door and those never close correctly I have never heard or seen if any roaches in the house ever, I was in the house inspecting it just the day if your arrival. The house is professionally cleaned and maintained. There was simply one screw loose on a table which was easily fixed. And this is the first complained I’ve ever heard of hot water during your stay catching notified me while you were there. I would’ve happily send a repairman to take a look. Perhaps it is best to notify a host in private of these issues and concerns so that they can be dealt with and addressed during your stay, which I am very happy to do with my full-time maintenance person..

Exceeded our expectations

This property is exactly as pictured in the listing. Beautiful home and pool area. Our favorite aspect was being able to open the doors out to the pool area and enjoy the pool, living area and kitchen as one space. We were able to cook most of our meals here because the kitchen has everything you need. Going to the beach? Don’t worry, there are chairs, beach towels and even a little cooler for you to take your lunch or snacks with you. The only disappointment was the pool cleaner did not show up on Tuesday, but showed up on Thursday, our last day. There was a pool net on site we tried to use but it was ripped, so we did our best to get some of the leaves out of the pool. Kids still swam but we were just hopping all the leaf debris would be out on Tuesday. You’ve set the bar high for other VRBO hosts to meet. We’ve already shared the listing with friends and we’re planning our stay for next New Years already!

More than a Beach House

My husband and I and our 8 year old Labradoodle recently had a wonderful 11 days at Jennifer’s lovely beach house. This was the perfect setting for a much needed and too short vacation. The house was perfect for us and the proximity to everything was great, easily accessible, lots of nearby shopping, restaurants, beaches and a great organic grocery store, Sprouts, a short block away. Although the house is just off the main drag, the neighborhood itself is very residential, peaceful, and great for long walks with the pup. The house décor is lovely, with lots of natural light. It is extremely comfortable, and the amenities are plentiful with a fully stocked kitchen. Jennifer’s attention to detail and furnishing design sense add much to the ambiance. The piece de resistance, is the outdoor setting and most importantly the heated pool. The Master Bedroom and Living Room French Doors open up to the pool and backyard. The enclosed porch area is great for morning coffee, glass of wine in the evening, etc. There were a couple of very minor inconveniences not worth mentioning here, except to say that Jennifer was immediately available and responsive. We hope to be coming back again soon and next time staying longer!

Nice place in a good location

We enjoyed our stay at the house. The house and location was as described. I would consider staying there again, if the landowner were able to control the heat in the guest shower, as the water would only spray hot, not warm or cool. The cleaning company did a good job overall but the couch had food and clothing from the previous renters in it and there was a lot of food items left in the refrigerator that we had to dispose of from the previous renters and the trash bin outside was already full so we could not put out the trash until Sunday night for Monday trash day. The property owner was easy to get ahold of if we had any questions.

Heidi, Thank you for your stay and the feedback. Both shower heads and plumbing are new and this is the first I have heard about not being able to control the water temperature. I will certainly have the plumber look at this. There are certain food items that guest can leave in the frig that new guest might want to use. Certain items are thrown out of course. Hard as I try to remind people to take out the trash they sometimes do forget though. You were a lovely guest to host and would welcome you back any time.

Lovely Home ... but

The house was lovely. Fresh and clean. However, as we were driving to the house the owner called to say that the shower door was not working in the main bathroom so my friend and and I would need to share one shower for 3 days until the part arrived. Of course, the functioning shower was in the master bedroom and my friend needed to be up and out of the bedroom so I could use the small en suite shower. Three days then turned into 6 and then ended up being 10 days. We then were told the pool was not heated and if we wanted it heated to give twenty four hours notice because that’s how long it takes to heat up. And by the way- it would cost us $20.00 a day to heat it! We asked if we could at least have two days of heated pool to compensate for the inconvenience of no shower. We had some guests over - and the pool never did heat up, so we could not use it at all. We kept expecting the host/owner to suggest some type of compensation for both the pool and the shower but never heard anything not even an apology! Just that it wasn’t her fault - true, but it certainly wasn’t ours. There were a few bottles of wine on the bar- Hess Select (which retails for about $20) were offered for a whopping $50.00 a bottle! There was a basket of sundries - toothpaste, floss etc- all with a menu of pricing. At the end of the trip, we asked the host for some type of compensation for the major inconvenience and disappointment to which she replied with "you are now hitting me up for an additional credit" and offered us $50! We told her to keep it as it was an insult. A professional would have offered something instead of us having to ask. Did we like the house? Yes. Would we rent from her again? Absolutely not.

Convenient

This home was everything I wanted it to be. We had just come from a not so great stay in Jacksonville on our drive from Ohio, so walking into this place made me so pleased. It’s decorated so beautifully and the home has everything you could need for you and your family. This was our first time staying in this area of Florida so we were a little hesitant but immediately felt relieved after getting to the home and realizing how close everything is to it. There is a great grocery store “sprouts”, a gas station, dollar tree and target all of which are right up the street and easy to walk to. The beach is a 5 minute drive and so are all the waterfront restaurants. Jennifer left a guide to some favorites which I always appreciate a host doing. The house also provided bikes that we loved and plan to purchase for ourselves. Our weather wasn’t the best so the pool was chilly and it doesn’t get direct sun but you can pay to get it heated which takes the edge off a bit. The home is close to Boca Raton which is right down the road and only a short drive to the great beachfront of Pompano beach, which we loved. Jennifer was easy to get any questions or issues answered and taken care of. We definitely recommend staying here if in the area.
